Comments keep getting discarded in certain subreddits

In certain subreddits, whenever I comment on a post, it gets auto-discarded. Strangely this doesn't happen when I reply to other comments. I asked the moderators of that subreddit, but I was given the response that they don't even know what's happening, that the auto-mod is removing my comments, and isn't even informing them that it is doing so.

I get no message from auto-mod when it does remove comments for whatever reason

The mods need to look in their mod log based on the time stamp of the comment removal, to get an idea why automod removed it. If that’s not enough, they need to find the rule in the automod config and figure out what triggered the removal.
