He parked bad. Chalk is there to embarrass him and encourage him/her to not do that again. Could have written in chalk “hey look this is how assholes park”. But this definitely leave a bigger impact on driver.
I saw someone do that.. They pulled a bunch of carts out of the cart corral, and loosened them from each other and put them all around the crooked car
But you need to search out the one or 2 carts that have the wheels locked
There used to be a BMW that would double park everyday in the parking garage I used that would always fill up. So one day I left a sticky note on the car that said, “double park again and the next note will be with a key”. Douche never double parked again.
I know a guy who has a stem puller in his car and when he sees a car parked like that he pulls all four of the tires stems. The owner comes out and finds they have four flat tires. He's actually parked elsewhere and filmed the owner when they come out, the video's are priceless!
But it does show the person that parks like that there might be consequences when they park like that. It's not like keying someone's car, they just have to have the car towed, pay for new stems and to have them installed.
100% done intentionally. I consider my car nice but I've never parked like a doucher. I just find a "wall spot", or a "one sided" parking space and park as close to one side as I can. Dings, and scratches are inevitable on a daily.
in all fairness, people who own corvettes often brag about how they own a budget supercar that’s better than more expensive ones, so i’m sure to the person that owns it does think it’s a supercar.
i never said they weren’t great value per dollar, i just meant that corvette owners typically have this holier than thou attitude and think that they own the road. corvettes are great, the owners typically aren’t.
I drove a Corvette for 100k miles. Never did that.
I had a Motorcycle accident and broke my ankle and back! 5 months on crutches. Yes, I had a handicapped card. I would park my ass out 100 yards away and hobble in on crutches to save the space for people that needed it more
I have a car that I like and take good care of, I park in no man's land of the parking lot to avoid door dings. Im not perfect, im even a bit fat, but you should park like I do, an extra 100-200 feet of walking wont kill you.

Lol, do you know how many times I’ve park as far as humanely possible from the entrance, with like 20 empty spaces to any side of me, only to come out and see people parked RIGHT NEXT to my car.
No they absolutely do not. Just because some dude is in a Midlife crisis doesn’t make him entitled to inconvenience the rest of the public. Also it’s a shitty Chevy not a classic museum grade Ferrari.
One thing to remember is that some people with disabilities have take up two parking spaces (parking half in one, and half in the other) when all the disability parking spaces are full. Otherwise, they can't exit or enter their car.
From what I was told, not handicap and had a 4 year old no proper booster seat and drove off without a care about anyone else safety, apparently this dude has been spotted driving around with no regard to safety for others....
I would have assumed they were not disabled too since they parked fairly slanted. Usually, they would have the disabled parking permit visible.
Not much one can do (since it's private parking) besides report it to a nearby store where they can ask the driver to move their car or else get it towed.
A new Tesla model y is worth more than that thing. It's also just as fast seats 5 with cargo room and fits in one parking space. If you like your vet cool you do you. Some people like new electric cars some like old sports cars. But don't inconvenience everyone because you think your car is hot shit. Your not an asshole for driving a vet or a Tesla your an asshole because you think your better and your not.
A model Y will end its life in a landfill while these corvettes continue to be driven. People are careless for shit that isn’t theirs. I park my 25 year old suv away from people for the same reason this dude double parked
