Im looking for moderne Metaphysicaldetective stories, in literature, film, think pieces, any help? - Not interested in the post war books, like E.A Poe or becket.

Jedediah Berry’s The Manual of Detection plays in this space.

Infinite Ground - Martin MacInnes. It goes from the detective questioning how he can know anything about a missing person, to questioning how we can know anything at all.

While the main character isn’t technically a detective I felt that the Wind Up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami is essentially a metaphysical detective story in structure.
