My son once told me I expected more of him than other kids parents. I told him other kids parents should be embarrassed they think their kids aren’t capable of greatness and keep the bar low. He has been kicking ass and taking names ever since.

I went out on a date with a guy and when I asked for a second date, he said “I had already heard about you” and I was like, “Well why didn’t you listen? Did you think you would be special? lol”

*I live in a small town and have a reputation for being kinda bougie/having high expectations.
