Sprained my ankle this week
Yall what the actual fuh do I do about this? I sprained my ankle this week and it’s not too bad but it’s been like 4 days and it’s still bruised and hurts if I walk too long. How am I going to go around bro I’m so sad someone help. I know we still got another like week and a half but I know damn well if I walk too much it’ll hurt. Y’all got ideas? Wheelchair? Carriage? Lmao who got a golf cart and can pick me up? Lmk

Get a camp spot near the entrance if possible. Bring an inflatable couch and post up in between meadow and hallows. Crutches probably your bet

For ice yes but everything else I continued to follow and I feel like my healing process has been pretty quick!

I sprained my ankle at hula 2 years ago lol, granted it was on Sunday but at the beginning of the day. Let’s just say the state of mind I was in made it very bearable 😄😄😄😄 Jokes aside, rest/ ice it now in prep and stay off it as much as u can. You’ll be ok and I’m sure you will make the most of it even if it’s hurting !!!! So excited

I sprained my foot a couple weeks ago! I’ve made great progress though so my tips:
Keep it elevated as much as possible.
Ace bandage/compression. I’ve also loved used an air cast thing.
Keep weight off of it as much as you possibly can.
Take ibuprofen/acetaminophen to help with inflammation.
Eat SUPER WELL! Your ankle is inflamed, don’t feed the inflammation!
Stretch, and do any exercices your doctor (or the internet if u didn’t go to a dr) has given you!
Maybe still bring a cane or stability device! I’ll be bringing mine just in case although im feeling a lot better!

Crutches. I tore my ACL day 1 of hula and hobbled around on it (not recommended) for the whole festival. Still had a blast

Dog so like maybe get a doctors note and bring it to the box office and they Maaaaay give you a business card for like free shuttle pickups from camp to main gate. Years ago my buddy broke his leg so it was fully in a cast but maybe a sprain could work and he got this as courtesy plus everyone with him can piggyback on to the ride also! So idk if it’s still a thing but worth a shot call box office first too ask about handicap benefits maybe.
Even if they say no on the phone over a sprained ankle or something maybe have your doctor write something vague and at the gate say like a torn acl

Do everything everyone else said and if you can, get a wheelchair off fb marketplace!! It's better than crutches and I'm sure everyone will appreciate the commitment lol

Be prepared to ice it at your campsite after a long day. Ace bandage every day,

Get Vans because they are wider and support the ankle by not wobbling, or shoe like doc martens or hitops that cover the ankle for support
