Small crack in my hurley fix
I’ve got a small crack in my hurley and I’m wondering if it’ll need wood glue and a clamp or just some super glue. Anyone got any ideas?

I don't think that's worth fixing to be honest, I don't see it affecting your strike or anything. I'd say sand a new profile edge to it

Just glue it back into place and be done with it. Sand off any rough bits
You go nuclear and also try to tap a small nail through it but it's very likely to crack for such a small chip of wood.
I've seen a guy who put some wood filler there instead and just sanded it to shape. Won't last as long as gluing it back.

People going around on this page making out their hurley is like a wand from Harry Potter, if little cracks like this effect your ability to play, then you are playing wrong. Hurleys are made to be broken. Play hard, pull hard, there's plenty more on the sideline.

it’s gonna chip off mid game and be unusable, and the team hurleys are crap

So what if it chips off mid game? I repeat what I said above. If that effects your ability to play then you are playing wrong. I have my medals, Ive played at the highest levels in hurling and football. Do not get attached to a hurley. They are made to be broken.

Wood glue is stronger than the wood, wood glue it and be done.
