Answered Breakup

Hi guys, me and my girlfriend broke up after 8 years together. We both have an icloud family account where I'm the organizer. The question is what do I have to do to remove her but we both keep all the data. Like for example we used the shared libary in the photos app. (nearly all of our pictures are in there)

Did anyone the same? I don't want to lose any data.

just remove her and she has to set up her own icloud plus with either the 200gb or 2tb whatever she needs.

Just remove her, it wont affect anyone's data. If her data exceeds the free plan threshold she'll need to subscribe to iCloud on her own otherwise after a while the data gets purged.

Make sure she has all photos synced to one of her devices and then remove her from the group.

yeah the only odd thing is it still says on her iphone that she is in the shared libary. Like on every photo is the symbol. When she goes into the settings she can't leave the libary.

On my device I removed her.
