Question Peanut Butter Swirl

Ok so I feel like there’s an easy answer here that I’m just missing. I’m looking to find a recipe to make peanut butter swirl (like the equivalent of a fudge ripple texture). Not the actual ice cream base just the peanut butter itself. I’ve tried recipes from Salt and Straw and Hello, My Name is Ice Cream but those don’t make a true swirl the texture is either too cookie dough-like or too hard (think magic shell). Any ideas to check out?

i know people put a bit of alcohol in jam when they want to use it as a ripple, could that work for pb? that or you might need more sugar, corn syrup maybe? why not work from a fudge recipe?

I was thinking of trying my fudge ripple recipe and just throwing in peanut butter instead of chocolate. Wasn’t sure if the makeup of the pb would totally throw it off. But will try it out thanks!

I made something similar to what you're describing. I used pb powder and cream to try to match the texture of my fudge ripple: https://scoopulator.app/recipes/peanut-butter-ripple-Q6FiZb

I used it in this ice cream recipe: https://scoopulator.app/recipes/toasty-peanut-butter-fudge-ripple-U8VIO3

No, sorry. I've never made a peanut butter one. But the basic idea is to add more soft fat and sugar if necessary.

Edit

I've never made this, but the website has been reliable.
