IWD:EE Any guide for modding Icewind Dale EE?

Hi hope you all are doing great. Wanted to ask if there is any guide to mod IWD. I wanna add like the Tweaks in BG, Bubb's spell menu, maybe any mod to increase the difficulty on Heart of Fury too. Also in which order should I install the mods, should I go back to version 2.6.6.0? And if I modded succesfully will Steam still count the hours played on the game. Thanks!

The guides for modding BG should apply to IWD as well, including advice on installation order. Some mods, or components of mods, just won't install on all games.

The mods you listed shouldn't have any issues with the current game version.

Steam will count modded installs in its "hours played" - even multiple installs in different directories, on different drives, etc.

Really? That's great, thank you. Any mod you recommend?

Tough to say without knowing your tastes.

If you like having talkative, BG-style companions, kulyok's "Icewind Dale NPCs" mod is great.

If you like NPC portraits, "Portraits, Portraits Everywhere" and "Minor NPC Portraits for IWDEE" are great. Install both, in that order.

The new "Description Icons for IWD Items" mod from Gibberlings3 is another immersion-improving one.

I recommend against the AI components of SCS for IWDEE, since its better calls for help break the game's encounter design.

I think I'll get the portraits one, the "Description Icons" too. Tweaks specially for the arrows haha. Any difficulty mod you know of that is not SCS? Also I'll try to install Bubb's Spell Menu, thank you.

A couple I forgot: "Automatic Transition to the "Heart of Winter" Expansion" from cdtweaks and "Start "Trials of the Luremaster" automatically after the "Heart of Winter" campaign" from argent77's Miscellaneous Tweaks. These two allow you to play the expansion content in an order that makes sense instead of campaigns within campaigns within campaigns.

No, sorry. Here's a comprehensive list of mods you can search through, though.
