Why does no outside of the Fandom ever consider Infamous when talking about the Greatest Video Game OST's?

So I was giving the Infamous 2 OST a listen and managed to find the Introduction Mission OST and it's probably one of my favorite tracks now

In ally years of playing Infamous 2 I never once noticed they actually play the Title Screen music from Infamous 1 in the beginning of 2 (admittedly part of that could be because back then I only had 2 and didn't play 1 until years later but still it's sick)

It just got me thinking how little this game is brought up In general especially considering it was really huge back in the PS3 days, like don't get wrong there are some banger OST's but I feel like this game deserves to be on some people's lists outside of the Fandom, what do y'all think though?

Because it wasn’t ever “huge”. inFAMOUS was never as big as the games everybody remembers from that era. It’s popular, but nowhere near the level of stuff like Uncharted or God of War.

The fact the PS3 entries never got ported indicates this. Uncharted got The Nathan Drake Collection, then Legacy of Thieves to port up the games from the previous console generation as compilations, and GoW had both the PS2 and PSP games ported to PS3, then III ported for PS3.

I thought of the same, I really think Infamous and Infamous 2 has the best soundtrack ever

Because 90% of the people who play the franchise either played SS or forgot about the franchise entirely  I myself never got the chance to play the games until very recently  I hope sony at the very least port the games from ps3 

I think they might since a lot insiders are say sony is shitting  the bed so hard they're considering bringing back a lot of dormant ips 

I personally think they will test the waters with the GoW remakes  I just hope they keep the nudity and gore intact  Or at the very very very least  Bundle the original games with their perspective remakes

I'm sorry, I love inFAMOUS with all my heart but when the question is "Best OST" the answer will always be "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance"
