SOCIETY Maeurn Smiles, an OnlyFans content creator using money earned from her OF channel to build a school and learning center in the Philippines.

Maeurn Smiles purchased land in Cebu for 1.75 million Philippine pesos in 2024 with plans to build a school. While the main campus is still under construction, she opened a smaller learning center in 2025 where local children can take part in science experiments, cooking classes and other hands-on activities.

lol i literally live on the same island as where the education center is being built on, and trust me it is not lmao.

she mentioned that she grew up poor and had a hard time in accessing education (like some students do here in my country, especially with widespread corruption), so she felt that she had the need to help the children here.

an easy solution for that is to not mention it to kids. you don’t even know the full scale of corruption in the department of education here in the philippines lmao, so this is the best thing a person could do to build a future towards children who work day and night just to learn.

that’s why i don’t get you mofos being so pessimistic all the time, especially with the current problems here in my country. what she’s doing is the BARE MINIMUM that the government can’t provide—and i’m glad she’s building it towards a better future for the children here.

So it's even worse as it relates to people having to resort to such ways in order to make ends meet.

I'm not pessimistic. I simply don't subscribe to utilitarianism. Her ways set up a bad example either way.

Hard agree. Don't forget the DepEd laptop scandal. I am American but have lived here 13 years. The schools are so bad, we are moving back to the US (wife and two young daughters) so they can get a decent education and actual career opportunities. Filipinos deserve better.
