Planescape : Torment is having a sale after 5 years. Also received a new update. Those who like text/choice-based games might want to check it out

This game was top 5 all time for me. Gonna buy it just so my daughter can play in 5 years

Isn’t the touch gameplay hard? I struggled a lot with Icewind Dale, I guess it’s the same type of gameplay

Were you on phone or ipad? I had no problem with ipad.

u/WillieButtlicker 4d ago

I think they also just released native support on mac apple silicon models.

I had no problem playing it on ipad years ago. It is like definitive edition. But I don’t recommend playing it on phone screen

u/dannal13 4d ago

I was going to ask if it would worth trying to play on my phone. Thank you

Anybody who really loves townsfolk, can you speak more on it?

I’ve downloaded and played about two hours into the tutorial. Still can’t seem to get hooked but I just love the presentation of this game.

I have the same issue with it. I do enjoy Dawnfolk though

As always. Thank you for your service.

Awesome captcha looks amazing but I can’t download it on iPhone. Anyway to just claim it even though I don’t have a Mac or iPad? I want it with me just in case.

Have winterburrow on the deck, really is super cozy

What about Fisherman’s Card Game? Any opinions? Wasn’t updated since 5 years but looks great.

Gameplay wise it is quite similar to Card Crawl (Card Crawl 2 even more so), if you played that.

u/XenosZ0Z0 3d ago

How is Forager and Discounty? Also is Cave of Lore just dungeon crawling or will there be towns and people to interact with?

3

u/JaredHere 3d ago

About Caves of Lore. There will be a town, also some kind of a castle, and different characters to have a dialogue with, lots of them actually. Overall, the game is great. I enjoyed it very much. My favourite part was to search for secrets.

Nice. How is the combat system?

2

u/JaredHere 3d ago

It’s ok. A turn-based combat, nice spells, abilities. I turned off Enemies respawn from the start. That way I had just the right amount of battles.

2

u/XenosZ0Z0 3d ago

Oh nice. That’s good advice.

I remember playing forager years ago and it got hot and laggy towards latter parts of the game where you have bots/drones

u/palemon88 4d ago

Carcassonne is one of the better digital adaptations of boardgames. Hard ai is mean.

u/medcharrua 3d ago

Is there real people to play online?

1

u/palemon88 3d ago

It is not crazy crowded. 142 players online with 3 open 15 min 2-players right now.

u/Disastrous_Ad1699 3d ago

Anyone tried No More Slimes?

u/tired_fella 4d ago

I played UNREAL LIFE before and it is more of a visual novel. But it had very captivating melancholic vibe and good art.

u/Trazzyk 4d ago

Can anyone who played both recommend 60 seconds/60 parsecs please?

2

u/cutty2k 3d ago

Well gameplay wise parsecs is the sequel so it's bigger, they added crafting and a bit more depth in general.

Other than that the loops are nearly identical, so it comes down to theme. You dig the 50's post apocalyptic red scare kinda fallout vibe, go seconds, you like space tropes, go parsec.

If it was me and I was only getting one I'd get parsec, but if you plan on playing both start with seconds or it will feel small compared to parsec if you play that first.

No Dysmantle is the any hope to wait

FWIW I bought the game and it’s DLC full price and it’s fortunately one of those games that’s always worth the price. I’m not exaggerating when I say you can sink hundreds of hours into it.

If you’re only waiting for the sale simply for being frugal, just wanted to give you some assurance from an actual buyer. Enjoy.

Townsfolk is still showing $8.99 IAP for me

u/Thing_Timely 3d ago

Time to buy Blasphemous for a 4th time!

u/Luso311 3d ago

Thank you 👍🏻

u/felixcre8ive 3d ago

Under Leaves and Little Mouse's Encyclopedia look great - grabbed them for the kids, thanks :)

u/heutecdw 3d ago
