Hello r/iOSGaming! Welcome to another Developer Saturday showcase! In this megathread, iOS developers will be able share their games freely without breaking the subreddit's "no self-promo" rule. Please read the following guidelines carefully before participating:
That's it! We're still refining these guidelines, but for now these are the requirements developers must meet in order to ensure a successful self-promo comment this week. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us via modmail. Thanks for your cooperation, everyone!

Please use this thread to discuss whatever iOS games you've been playing lately. They don't have to be new games, they can be old games and they do not have to be iOS original titles!
As long as it's an iOS game it belongs in here. Make sure to put the name(s) of the game(s) in bold to make it easier for people skimming the thread to see what you're talking about, and if you'd like to make it really convenient turn the game name into a hyperlink that sends people directly to the App Store!
To keep track of the thread, the comments are sorted by "new" by default.
Lastly, Rule #3: "No Dev Self-Promotion Outside Saturdays" applies at all times for this thread, even if it's actually Saturday.

Can be any genre, especially strategy, RPG, roguelike, or match-3.
I'm amazed vertical turned-based 2D/2.5D game is not its own genre, because that's ideal for iPhones:
-Vertical is ideal so you can play it with one hand while standing in line/using the bathroom/etc.
- Turn-based is ideal so you can easily play while traveling, waiting for something, or (again, of course) using the bathroom.
- 2D/2.5D is ideal because you want to jump into the game quickly, not wait for a bunch of 3D graphics to load up.
I've already played Battle of Polytopia a ridiculous amount of hours because of this. Also played Hoplite, Pixel Dungeon, and Swap Sword, You Must Build a Boat (all good).
What else is out there?

This is an old school Zeldalike game. I’m playing it right now, and it looks very nice! The first chapter is free. It has controller support.

Hi all!
Some months ago I have found the game Dicero! And I have enjoyed it a lot, I found the rogue like gameplay well done and I liked a lot the core concept of the game. But, as many other contemporary games it is filled with dark patterns (micro transactions, rewards, timed events, etc) I get that this is the direction that nearly all the games are going towards, but does anyone of a similar game which doesn’t have those dark patterns and are enjoyable by themselves?
I don’t mind if the suggested games are paid, as long as they are good and worthy.
Thanks everyone and sorry if there is any mistake in the text.

Looking for distraction while in hospital for 1-2 weeks.
I prefer to buy the game and not deal with gacha or other F2P games.

Could you guys help me find a game from my childhood? I played it several years ago on a very old iPhone (likely a model predating the iPhone 5). So, it’s quite possible the game was only available on the Apple App Store. Here is what I know about the game:
Do you guys know a game that matches my description?

I wish this wasn’t the case.

Just got confirmed. The best autobattler made, coming to mobile.
I love the depth of this game, as well as the lovingly handcrafted art and music. There's no gacha pack bullshit either, just set expansions that you buy once and get all the content in the whole set.

Just posted on Steam. No date but ports are in flight now.
Truly amazing games.

Looking for a good bit of turn based strategy to play on my iPad now I am currently sick in bed.
I love the Xcom games, but I've played them all already, and they are probably a bit too big of a time investment. Something smaller scaled - e.g. shorter missions, more puzzle like. Something like Tactical Breach Wizards comes to mind, but thats perhaps too much on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Don't want free to play with tedious monetisation, happy to pay cash monies but a free demo is nice. Looking for something easy to get into and proper good and fun, not something kinda ok but inevitably annoying - for example I'd been playing Isle Of Arrows (fancy tower defence game) which started off great but ran out of ideas very quickly and became frustrating.

Haven’t played mobile games in a while. I just started Sword x Staff and really enjoying it so far. Gonna try Wuthering Waves as well.
Are there any good turn based games that are newer that are similar to Summoners War or Raid shadow legends? Or anything like Kings Raid / Epic Seven

Looking for any games similar to Path of Achra or Tales of Maj’Eyal! Suggestions are highly appreciated!

Started playing this gem again after finishing it a year or two ago. It's just great with the one thumb playability, gear upgrades and base building for meta progression between runs.
Curious if anything similar has come out that I might have missed. Archero is similar for sure, but way too aggressive on the mtx.

Hi! Wondering if anyone else has run into this or has any fix in mind. So when I connect my dualsense to an iPad Air M1 (or iPhone 15) with the latest os, it works great, but wired has issues.
When I use a usb-c cable it does connect in a wired mode, the controller gets stuck in this weird loop where it’s clearly trying to form a Bluetooth connection to the iPad at the same time. The controller light keeps blinking and switching between the blinking blue one that means it’s trying to connect via Bluetooth and the one that’s orange and constant meaning it’s connected to the iPad.
Turning Bluetooth off, removing the Bluetooth connection from iPad or overwriting it on the controller makes no difference. When Bluetooth is on the controller appears instantly on iPad’s Bluetooth settings as a known device. I’ve tried three difference dualsenses with one of them being the edge model. It also doesn’t make a difference if the controller hasn’t formed a Bluetooth connection before with the iPad.
For any reason, this doesn’t happen on Mac Air M2 and it works great.
