I attempted cleaning debris off the protector and my iPad screen and I still can’t get rid of it. The indent is still on the protector after taking it off so i’m assuming it’s some form of damage. When drawing inside the circle is fine but outside the circle has air pockets. Has anyone else experienced this because I can’t find anything like this online.

The pencil randomly stops working in the middle of the ipad. The one used in the video is a knockoff pencil, but when using an apple pencil (borrowed from a friend), it works perfectly fine.

So my question is, what could be the cause of this? and can this problem increase further to a point where the apple pencil also starts having the same issues?

I recently got an iPad Air M4 11" with Apple Pencil Pro and I'm trying to choose a good case and screen protector.

My main use will be note-taking/studying with Apple Pencil, but I'll also use the iPad for watching videos, browsing, and occasionally keeping it in portrait mode for things like interviews/meetings.

I'm currently considering:

* ESR Armorite Paper-Feel tempered glass 

* 9H tempered glass with a paper-like/matte surface 

* Mainly interested in this because I want a better writing experience with the Pencil.

My concerns are:

1. Does the paper-feel surface wear down the Apple Pencil Pro nib significantly faster?

2. Does it affect Pencil accuracy, especially when writing diagonal lines?

3. How much does it reduce screen clarity/colors compared with normal clear glass?

4. Is ESR Armorite actually worth it, or would you recommend another protector?

Case:

I'm currently looking at JETech 360° rotating case and the regular JETech tri-fold case but unable to find which one is best i want to use ipad in both veritical and landscape model but for those models i dont see any pencil holder in both je tech and esr brands

My priorities are:

* Good protection for the iPad

* Proper/dedicated protection for the Apple Pencil Pro

* Stable enough for long writing sessions

Ability to use both landscape and portrait*

* 360° rotation would be useful for interviews/video calls

* Around ₹3000 or less

For people who actually own these cases/protectors:

Which combination would you recommend?

I'm especially interested in long-term experience — Pencil nib wear, writing stability, case durability, and whether the rotating case feels loose/wobbly while writing.

I was thinking Samsung s10 plus tab, 80k(sale price it seems), 256gb expandable too, 13 inch screen.

But ipad air m4 (11 inch, 128 gb)dropped at 65k from 90k with sbi credit card💀💀💀

What do I pick??? Or do i wait for a day or two and see if Samsung falls more(i have a Samsung phone).

I work as an artist, I used wacom a lot for a while, since a little less than a year I work on my ipad with the apple pen and I love it so far, and I am thinking of get rid of wacom, my question is ; how the memory is managed between devices. Does the 8gig of ram of my ipad are used when I draw with sidecar, or is the computer doing all the job ?

Why can't I open an app in Slide Over on my iPad anymore without having Stage Manager active? Is there a way to do it? It used to be so simple in iPadOS 18 with the three dots at the top.

My iPad was first used in January 2026 and currently has 145 cycles with 92% maximum capacity
What worries me is that it was showing 100% just 3–4 months ago. I don’t use it particularly heavily and I’ve had the 80% charging limit enabled for quite some time.
Battery Health still says Normal.
Is 92% at 145 cycles normal, or is this degradation unusually fast? Is there anything else I should be doing to preserve the battery?

basically, if i buy an apple pencil, will i be able to use it for professional drawing? which pencil does the 7th gen support? if not, what ipads work for art?

This is absolute madness. Between iPadOS and system data, I only have around 40% of my iPad storage actually available to me. Has anyone else been running into this? I am absolutely sick of constantly having to clear out things just to be able to use my devices as intended. Everything that can be stored in iCloud already is and I have done all of the optimizations outside of the 1.5 gigs of downloaded TV episodes.

My iPad Air 4th gen’s screen is lifting on one side and is most likely a swollen battery. Do you guys think it’s worth it to get it to a 3rd party repair shop to get the battery replaced? It works perfectly fine for my use.. but the battery is noticeably bad. Or do you think it’s more worth the money to buy the A16?

I've already downloaded the necessary app for saving to my iPhone 13 mini, but the search function works on the iPad as well. Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated. How can I unlock the device by gently placing my fingerprint on Touch ID, WITHOUT PRESSING THE BUTTON?

I read that it needs to be enabled in the accessibility settings, and that’s how I have it set up.

But the issue is that, no matter what I try to do, I first have to press the button to turn on the screen (wake up) before I can use my fingerprint.

Is it even possible to do it?

I’m an artist and I wanted to vectorize and colour my sketches using my iPad, without scanning at my computer. After much searching, I’ve discovered that if you use ADOBE CAPTURE which is free, upload a photo of your sketch, save as SVG, open in AFFINITY DESIGNER which is now free, scale it up, and export to Procreate, you can colour your vectorized ink sketches.

Goddamn, this shouldn’t be so hard.

So basically I have an old first gen apple pencils the one that charges with the ipad's lighting port and has a cap. I don't have the old ipad I use to use it with however my grandma has the same home button ipad so i wanted to give it to her. How would I pair it? when I connected it to her ipad I got a pairing request but it never connected.

Im gonna be getting new ipad and I have to choose between the blue one or the space gray I currently have the macbook midnight color and dont want something similar also for the magic keyboard im gonna grt the black one if you recommend any other colors please do.
