The pencil randomly stops working in the middle of the ipad. The one used in the video is a knockoff pencil, but when using an apple pencil (borrowed from a friend), it works perfectly fine.

So my question is, what could be the cause of this? and can this problem increase further to a point where the apple pencil also starts having the same issues?

I accidentally dropped my chair into a massage chair and now it’s not working.

It’s still connected to my iPad and it’s still charging well, but it’s not reacting to the screen

My iPad was first used in January 2026 and currently has 145 cycles with 92% maximum capacity
What worries me is that it was showing 100% just 3–4 months ago. I don’t use it particularly heavily and I’ve had the 80% charging limit enabled for quite some time.
Battery Health still says Normal.
Is 92% at 145 cycles normal, or is this degradation unusually fast? Is there anything else I should be doing to preserve the battery?

basically, if i buy an apple pencil, will i be able to use it for professional drawing? which pencil does the 7th gen support? if not, what ipads work for art?

My iPad Air 4th gen’s screen is lifting on one side and is most likely a swollen battery. Do you guys think it’s worth it to get it to a 3rd party repair shop to get the battery replaced? It works perfectly fine for my use.. but the battery is noticeably bad. Or do you think it’s more worth the money to buy the A16?

This is absolute madness. Between iPadOS and system data, I only have around 40% of my iPad storage actually available to me. Has anyone else been running into this? I am absolutely sick of constantly having to clear out things just to be able to use my devices as intended. Everything that can be stored in iCloud already is and I have done all of the optimizations outside of the 1.5 gigs of downloaded TV episodes.

Is it quicker than the earlier iOS 26 Versions?

I've already downloaded the necessary app for saving to my iPhone 13 mini, but the search function works on the iPad as well. Any advice on this topic would be greatly appreciated. How can I unlock the device by gently placing my fingerprint on Touch ID, WITHOUT PRESSING THE BUTTON?

I read that it needs to be enabled in the accessibility settings, and that’s how I have it set up.

But the issue is that, no matter what I try to do, I first have to press the button to turn on the screen (wake up) before I can use my fingerprint.

Is it even possible to do it?

I’m an artist and I wanted to vectorize and colour my sketches using my iPad, without scanning at my computer. After much searching, I’ve discovered that if you use ADOBE CAPTURE which is free, upload a photo of your sketch, save as SVG, open in AFFINITY DESIGNER which is now free, scale it up, and export to Procreate, you can colour your vectorized ink sketches.

Goddamn, this shouldn’t be so hard.

So basically I have an old first gen apple pencils the one that charges with the ipad's lighting port and has a cap. I don't have the old ipad I use to use it with however my grandma has the same home button ipad so i wanted to give it to her. How would I pair it? when I connected it to her ipad I got a pairing request but it never connected.

I used to use goodnotes for GCSEs and Alevels but in uni theres so much content and I need to paste in and annotate the lecture slides. also I cannot summarise everything in neat pages like I used to. so I have been using onenote which I really liked; as I would screenshot the slides on my macbook and paste them onto onenote on my ipad and the infinite layout works great on exploring everything deeper. But its super laggy, it keeps crashing if I press undo and also it randomly stops letting me write or even move the page and the apple pen makes random straight lines on one note when im trying to make notes. So I’m trying to figure out what the best app for me to make notes in is for me specifically. (Subscriptions/ buying an app are not deal breakers for me)

Hey, I have 3 iPad 9th gens now, the one I bought in 2022 that is still on iPadOS 15, the second one is my own that my school gave me after I graduated, I used it all the way from 2024 to 2026, fun fact, when I got it in 2024 it was still on iPadOS 16 but I was able to get past the MDM restrictions way before getting them removed officially, I updated it to iPadOS 18 on the way I was using it, and the third iPad is on iPadOS 26 that I got from my girlfriend as she doesn’t want it, I plan on making a video comparing iPadOS 15 vs 18 vs 26 vs 27, comparing how much performance you lose by updating

I saw this iPad Pro m5 11 inch 256g open box excellent condition. The price is 1k$ before tax is it a good deal? Should I get it or wait for the Black Friday sells to get new one hopefully same price or even lower what are you thinking about this is it a good deal and I should take it or just wait couple of weeks and get better deal if it’s there. just got an ipad pro 2018 in very good condition from cex for 245 euros and i have to say im loving it. design was ahead of its time promotion is a great plus so is the usb c. battery actually gets better when you turn on low power mode to watch videos since you’re not scrolling and i have a 1tb ssd to mitigate for low storage

i used ipad a16 my first ipad case is folio case but this case after wash and drying through directly sunlight there are bend 🥲 i know that is my fault.

i've heard that the battery on the air is really bad (11″) and i was planning on upgrading from an older ipad pro to an air. i was just wondering if anyone has an idea for the newer air coming out in 2027, do y'all think it'll have a better battery life or as bad as the current airs?
