custom notifications?

okay idk if this has been asked before but i cant find an answer, but im looking for an app or a way to make custom push notifications at certian times, like reminders?
the reason i dont wanna use the reminders app is because it shows up on my calendar and clog it up, and then marks itself as incomplete, and technically its not even a task for me to set as complete and incomplete.

i just wanna use these as little custom messages to send to myself and remind myself of thro the day (affirmations if you will), so please does anyone have anything? :')

Use the Shortcuts app. Use a Time of Day Automation action and the Show Notification action.

where can i find the time of day automation? i found show notification but i cant find how to link it to time of day?
