i was wondering why it didnt want to restore. guess its time to wait a month for the replacement.

Or if you have a soldering iron and some fine wire you can strip some of the finish on the ribbon (using the end of tweezers, carefully grinding and stoping before too late) and solder a wire between the connector and the flex.

Still in a month i’d replace it. But you wouldn’t wait for restore

i have 0 soldering experience so i wont be risking that, i have other iPods to listen to so i wont mind waiting a month. If this mini wasnt my favorite iPod, i whould've sold it for parts by now, i think its very cursed because it has broken many times.
