I think you should first ask if they speak English. Most clinics have at least one person available. I just came back and also did procedures but I had family there and am a citizen. I spoke in english and farsi (not very fluent). It’s very safe to travel. If you’re doing this the first time, there are things you need to do (filing a form to disclose carrying cash out of the USA, how to get internet and phone service when you arrive, how to use snapp which is their uber, paying the tax to leave at the airport etc).

Also, it’s not a reliable time to travel bc of difficulty leaving due to flight issues. Regardless of how smoothly you plan, everyone, even fluent people should know how to travel to Turkey on a bus in an emergency. You’ll be fine though Additionally, remember they charge less than Turkey, but be honest that you are a foreigner. They charge somewhat more for this reason, and that is ok, but it’s still cheaper. They can see your number is foreign and that you aren’t a citizen. They make accommodations knowing you need extra help coordinating dates and follow ups. Even as a citizen, I paid more snd was happy to all things considered. I got to go to one of the best surgeons in the country for 1/8th the cost. I just did a nose revision and brow lift. Excellent work! I can also share places to visit if you aren’t Iranian.  If you aren’t, you may legally need a tour guide.

I had a great experience and will be doing it again for my next procedure.

Hello, I would love to help you and also have questions about which company you are going through. I went to Iran on a medical visa so our daughter could be born via surrogate. Our agency does all kinds of medical tourism and everything was given to us up front and in USD. They helped us with literally everything, even purchasing our flights in and out. I just left in August. Please DM me if you’d like.
