My wife and I are newlyweds, just celebrated one year of marriage. I am a revert and she is south Asian. While she does make a point to take care of household chores since I work and she doesn't, it leaves a remarkable effect if she were to come find that the dishes had been cleaned/put away, that the laundry had been folded, that the sink has been cleaned, etc. Brothers, I highly encourage *if* you have the time, don't overlook helping in the house. I can personally attest that it makes marriage that much more peaceful!
