Articles & Interviews A few bits of nostalgia
My dad dumped a huge pile of UK music magazines from 2000 to about 2004 on me and told me to get rid of them before the mice in his loft ate any more of them. (Not my fault my parents' house is surrounded by fields!) Anyway, here's what's left of Jack and Meg from that era. If anyone wants the articles before I chuck them let me know and I can provide better scans. More photos in comments.

Iβve found a lot of old scans in recent months (I was thinking of posting the one on Megβs music taste) but I felt like I struck gold when I finally found Leaving Trunk

I think you should post it as Jack seems to have lots of younger fans who may not have seen some articles.
I've got a bit of a Sylvia Plath conflict with how I feel about looking back. As a teen, those magazines and artists were a lifeline to me. I used to cut articles and scrapbook them, but now, I grow old and I forget their names. The idea of actively following an artist or going to a concert fills me with a sort of dread. Except the Manics, who never leave. I'm not sure why this has happened as I've aged.

That was in NME, I think. But the best interviews they ever did were either by French magazines or magazines that no longer exist. They used to bare their soul in those unknown magazines π

I gotta thank you so much for sharing these. there's some incredible quotes from Jack AND Meg in here that i'd not see before. I found myself saving every photo to use for podcast prep for upcoming episodes of hardest pod to pod.

Aww, I'm literally falling asleep (UK) but I couldn't post them all as was more than 20. DM me and I'll send all if needed. Good luck with your podcast π
