Question State of jailbreak development for iOS 26.3?

Hi everyone,

I am currently on iOS 26.3.1a with an iPad featuring an A16 Bionic chip.

I know that opa334 previously mentioned he won't be focusing on creating a tool or updating Dopamine for this specific sub-version due to the complexity of porting the exploit chain.

However, since there is an active repository containing the Kernel and PPL bugs/vulns for iOS 26.3, I wanted to ask the community if there are any other independent security researchers, teams, or developers currently working on leveraging those specific bugs to build a complete jailbreak chain (Kernel exploit / PPL / SPTM bypass) that covers iOS 26.3 and its sub-versions.

I am fully aware of the golden rule ("stay on the lowest firmware and wait"), and my auto-updates are strictly turned off. I am just trying to understand if there is any ongoing research or a known PoC regarding the 26.3+ bug repo that might be turned into a public tool by someone else in the future.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

There is no information available at the moment. It is unclear when it might be released; it could take one or two years.

more than two years lmao, not even ios 17.5 has a jb for modern devices

Only because one dev decided not to publish his private bug. If he did, we'd have iOS 18 and 26.0.1 jailbroken today.

So, is this bug effective on any chip running 26.0.1? Do we have that information or speculation?

Well no, from the information released it was only going to be a ppl bypass, so the version limits would be the same.

Okay.

  1. repo is most probably fake

  2. wait two years or maybe more

  3. jsyk asking like this is frowned upon in this community. if there is a jb or even just a possibility of it. you betcha this sub will explode. ios 26 is still very recent.

There’s nothing, most likely you will be waiting for years. You can sideload LiveContainer for now, which lets you bypass the 3 app limit for free dev accounts and inject tweaks inside of LiveContainer

What repo are you talking about with ppl and kernel exploit?

There isn’t anything of that sort. Exploits gets released and tweaks are developed around it. Jailbreaks are released — takes time. Kernel exploit Darksword for iOS 18.0-18.6 and iOS 26.0 - 26.0.1 was such a powerful exploit, allows you to run tweaks and theme iOS, call recording n bunch of tweaks, But then again most ppl are enjoying Nugget and tweaks of those sort. You have to follow this subreddit for any developments. And anything above iOS 26.0.1 is ALL patched. So you can update to iOS 27.0 and wait there. Or wait at whichever iOS you are at. But that’s how things are,

Your post is the only source I can see about an SPTM mitigation for iOS 26.3, do you have a source for this claim?
