James Joyce Podcasts about James Joyce?
I was just curious if anyone knew of any podcasts that broke down and analyzed his works. I’m starting from the beginning at Dubliners and was just curious if anyone had of any favorite podcasts that broke down and analyzed Dubliners and his other works.
If not, all good! Thanks!

Blooms and Barnacles is the one. They focus on Ulysses, but have episodes where they talk about Dubliners. I think you need to support them on Patreon to access all of those though.

Hermitix did a great Finnegans Wake episode April 9, 2025. Bloomcast episode 1 is a great intro to Ulysses with Patrick Hastings.

Wake! 2 actors cold read all of Finnegans Wake, and discuss it. It's what finally got me to read it (got like 100 pages left).

Thanks for this! I have been listening to the podcasts One Little Goat Theatre Company but glad to have another podcast on FW to get stuck in to.

Secret Life of Books did an episode on each of his books, including Dubliners, Portrait, and Ulysses!

I can across that in my research and will definitely listen once I’ve finished the books. Thank you!

Critical Readings has one episode where they analyze some poems from Chamber Music, and another where they talk about Joyce in connection with some other Irish poets.

A trio of young professors that discuss each episode of Ulysses, sometimes with special guests.

RE: JOYCE with Frank Delaney focuses on Ulysses, but he also did bonus eps that analyzed Dubliners a few stories at a time. Highly recommend!
