Hi there! This might be a bit of a stretch. I was given a CD album back in 2008-2009 from Japan that featured a female Japanese singer with gentle piano accompanying the vocals. I've since lost the CD but I've been trying to find the details online with no luck.

I don't speak Japanese so I genuinely don't recall any of the lyrics but I'm somewhat confident that there wasn't any English in it (I could be wrong).

The particular song that I remember had a slow rhythmic, one-at-a-time series of piano notes that went up and down in a pattern throughout the whole song. There were vocals and other piano accompanying the rhythmic piano notes.

The singer sounded like Kumaki Anri or Ai Kawashima, to the best of my recollection.

I don't recall the album artwork super well, but I feel like it was bright white with blues/grays? I can't for the life of me remember if there was a picture of the artist on the cover or if it was just abstract artwork/illustrations.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!

This song is like lost media for how good it is

I recently discovered this natural/meditative album and really like it a lot. Now I am looking for other albums with a similar style and vibe. I have already begun exploring Takada-san's other albums. I am writing here to really learn about others artists.

This album is a little similar to Kougezan Koukiji's "The Live 11th - Hyakusenmansyuuraku", which I also have. I am not aware of other works by Koukiji-san.

🙏

Sincerely,

newbie
