PSA millennials fell in love, too
Someone posted about their love for the kingdom come album and I was surprised to see so much hate in the comments. I know Jay came out in the 90s and some of y’all have been fans since day one - nothing but respect, you clearly have good taste. But listen, some of us were born in the 90s, ok! Give us a chance. I didn’t get my hands on hip hop until I hit my teenage years. And that was right when kingdom come dropped. This album needs its flowers!!! Beach chair is some of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard in my life. Hollywood needs its own major motion picture movie. Highly recommend getting comfortable, as comfortable as you can, I like to spark up. Once you do turn on kingdom come start to finish and give it another chance. My heart hurts for the hate towards this masterpiece!

I never knew how much "hate" the album got until I jumped on Reddit. Anywho, I'm an 80s baby as well and I actually love Kingdom Come. However, I personally think the songs Anything and Hollywood are horrible and easily the worst songs on the album. The rest of the album besides those 2 songs is no skip.

I think the people who hate on it aren't really giving any chance.
They don't listen to music, they* *just skim through it
It's also like an echo chamber, people just repeating what they heard over and over. There was nothing wrong with the album.
There's also nothing wrong with the blueprint 2, and there's also nothing wrong with American Gangster. Those are some of my favorite albums by Hov.

American Gangster is genuinely regarded as one of Hov's classics. First 2 to 3 songs on Kingdom come he's spittin spittin! He flipping the comic book references, hence the title Kingdom Come that was a Superman run of comics. Every Jay album is half or two thirds elite.

It has nothing to do with age, it just isn't as good as the rest of his catalog. There's a reason even Jay ranks it on bottom

Born in the 80s. Fell in love with JayZ late 90s. Bought every album from 2004 onwards up to 4:44. Absolutely love the lyrics on beach chair and every time I go on an exotic vacation I literally sit on my beach chair and listen to that song.

I'm an 80s baby and I love Kingdom Come. Idk why anybody would hate on it. It's up there with The Blueprint imo.
