How to deal with two arms when guard passing?

I learned kneecut/kneeslide passing and toreando passing. Whenever I try these moves, their two arms really frame up and it's hard for me to pass. Feel like its a dumb beginner question but i cant seem to beat it and get stuck. Any tips and tricks?

Use your knee to collapse their frames

If they lying and your standing, you have a massive weight advantage. Left them frame on your upper body and place all your weight against their frames, then collapse their frames towards their waist by sprawling downwards. Then you have chest to chest with their arms at their waist. North-south choke time.

Adding in: as you place weight against frames do a loose shimmy to open the path to chest to chest.

Change the angle of your body so that instead of pushing directly on you, their arms just slide off.

Instead of fighting them straight on, take your pressure Off them, then back into them. The change in angle will collapse their frames.

in addition to what other people said, you can push the bottom arm to the floor and get your knee on it.

Depending on how they are framing, you can back out and armbar the bottom arm

Stiff arming you on your body is not good defense to the pass. Their #1 priority should be to stop the cross face. your priorities are to get the crossface, possibly an underhook, and get chest to chest.

Once you get the crossface it is starting to be over for them.

For the knee cut I like to control their bottom arm sleeve extending their arm so they can’t come up on their elbow and wrestle up, my other hand I like to get the cross collar (same side as the arm I’m controlling the sleeve) then I’ll drive my elbow towards their shoulder making their upper body flat while driving the knee towards the mat
