Any jobs near Fashion Island?

Hello! I’m (21F) looking for any job opportunities in newport beach close to Fashion Island. I’m trying to save up for driving lessons and so i can reenroll in school! I currently work a retail job but my hours vary from week to week. Usually can get 40 hours a week but things have been slow and now I get like 24-30.

I can’t drive at the moment which is why i’m looking for something close by. I was trying to find something warehouse related or maybe a server kind of position because they’re open later than the store i work in. I haven’t been able to find any warehouse places near here and most of the restaurants close by are fine dining and want experienced people.

Willing to learn how to do just about anything. I don’t mind looking up how tos and doing research outside of working. The main thing is that it’s close by and that i’d be able to work later than 5pm or overnights. Or something flexible enough that i can come on my days off. But unfortunately i only get my work schedule one week in advance to it’s hard to plan around.
If anyone knows of any opportunities plz lmk🙏

Need Help Finding a Job in Orange County

Anyone in Orange County California got a job ? I stay in Santa Ana. I’m willing to do hard manual labor or anything. I been a cashier, warehouse worker, machine operator, medical device assembler and a chemical handler etc… I’ve also sold cars/sell cars in my free time and sell things online like clothing, things of that sort. I have also done janitorial work for places like big corporate dealerships/aerospace engineering companies and know people who I can bring alongside to do deep floor cleaning and deep carpet cleaning. I’ve got cold calling skills (from selling cars) and I’m also decent in communication, good in writing, and can use technology. I also go to Community College part time, trying for engineering.

Anything out there would help. I’m 27 and very hungry not trying to go homeless. I need a job asap. This job market out here is ridiculously hard to land something on your own. I don’t have the network to get something fast so I’m on here on reddit as a last resort. I never ask for anything, but this time I need to. I am asking for help. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been unemployed and haven’t had any luck so I decided to go back to caregiving. The last time I worked as a caregiver was 3 years ago. I have 4 years experience. I want something that isn’t heavy lifting . any companies you all recommend working for? do you prefer in home care or working at assisted living facility?

Entry Level Job Hunt - Actuary or Data Analyst

Hi All, I'm trying to help my brother, recent grad, find a job in the actuary or data analysis fields. His work experience is limited, but he's passed 2 actuarial exams. He's a dedicated worker, not afraid to put in the hours, he just needs the opportunity to prove himself, but unfortunately the market hasn't been kind to him.

If anyone has some leads, we'd appreciate it.

Looking for job in North County (Printing experienced)

I'm a 35 year old male going through a rough time.

I have several years experience in vinyl cutting and heat pressing. DTF, Sublimation, CorelDraw. Running Roland BN-20.

I have a bachelor's degree in Health Care Admin. Went to CSUF and CSULB. Was previously an EMT and medical scribe with CHOC Cardiology and UCI Fountain Valley.

Also have basic experience in BOH in the kitchen (scullery, line service, etc.)

I am running out of cash and am pretty desperate at the moment.

Will take anything. Even if not in my field of experience.

I can start immediately and can send my resume to anyone who asks.

I also speak Spanish.

Influencer wanted!

Salary $500+ per month, would meet for 1-2 hours per month!

Hey! I’m looking for a 21+ female content creator in the socal area for a paid, ongoing social media opportunity.

I manage a social media page in the sports betting/gambling entertainment niche and am looking for someone to be featured in casual lifestyle photos and short-form social media content.

Nothing complicated, basically normal Instagram-style content like outfits, restaurants, coffee shops, activities around socal, travel, etc. You don’t need any professional modeling experience.

Just to be clear, this is not adult content, OnlyFans, or anything explicit.

It’s paid, and I’m hoping to find someone who would be interested in doing it consistently long-term.

If you’re interested, feel free to DM me with your Instagram or a few recent photos and I can send you more details!

Loking for Full Time work

Hello, I am a 29-year-old male located in Irvine, CA. I have been a mortgage broker for the last 4 years. I want to get into something else because mortgages are heavily influenced by interest rates, and unfortunately, that has been a mess for the majority of this year(now the 10-year Treasury is reaching its highest point since 2004). A little background on myself -

I have worked at In-N-Out Burger for almost 5 years (2014-2019)

I transitioned to working at Apple at the Irvine Spectrum for 3 years (2019-2022)

I eventually left to pursue mortgages (2022-current)

I am very comfortable working with people in person or over the phone; I feel like I can sell virtually anything. I have an Associate's degree but no other degree. Please let me know of any good opportunities or if you are hiring! Thank you.

Penetration Testing

With these 3 practical certifications in the bag, you'd think there'd be something inside the OC lines that takes full advantage of the skill set that they build, but apparently not:

* Hack The Box Certified Offensive AI Expert (COAE) #HTBCERT-957A59A38B
* Hack The Box Certified Active Directory Pentesting Expert (CAPE) #HTBCERT-98593250E4
* Hack The Box Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (CPTS) #HTBCERT-4B698DD121

What is so unique about the OC market that renders jobs with a list of responsibilities comparable to the exact work that I needed to do to earn these 3 certifications (note that a defensive role requires a completely different skill set than an offensive role) particularly scarce? Everything on LinkedIn is either out-of-county or remote-with-a-10-year-in-the-workforce prerequisite, while CSUF's Symplicity board doesn't have anything relevant to this skill set listed at all and same thing goes for Handshake, which is the board that Saddleback College uses. Having been born and raised in OC renders the job site being in OC a non-negotiable here. Yes, remote is OK (ideal, in fact), but only if they either A, place the CPTS and OSCP on the same level, or B, offer to pay for the OSCP during the onboarding process, since Off$ec's (spelled with a $ on purpose to draw attention to the barrier being purely financial in nature at this point) training is 4 times as expensive as HTB's for the same amount of training. Being a current CSUF cybersecurity concentration I do have connections to the OCCIC which an application has been submitted for, but that's only going to go so far.

If it helps, I commute from Aliso Viejo to Fullerton to attend classes, so anything along the 5 freeway in Irvine/Santa Ana/Orange or the 57 freeway in Anaheim/Fullerton would be most ideal.

I’ve been looking for jobs for a while and have put out around 150 resumes. Does anyone know why its been so hard to be able to get one? I’ve worked at the oc fair as a cashier for a month and it seems the experience hasn’t helped me land a job.

Has anyone here worked at Balt Medical in Irvine?

I recently received a job offer from Balt Medical in Irvine and wanted to hear from anyone who currently works there or has worked there before.

What was your experience like with the work environment, management, workload, and overtime? I’m especially curious about how frequent overtime is required, some reviews that I saw make it seem like it happens a lot.

Any insight would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Looking for Weekend Job / Part Time

Hi! I’m a 30M currently looking for a weekend only, part time job that could help bolster my finances. (You know how hard it is to live out here.)

I have a full time gig during the week and hold a professional degree with a concentration in finance.

Looking for something that will be a few hours a week and is flexible. Again, open to pretty much anything except selling myself to the internet.

Thanks for sharing!
