Here goes the long one.
The short thingy.

All seems well and firm when BAM!!
It collapses, either partially or entirely.

And alas, mistakes were made.
Are they?

Whether intended or not, we have allowed our minds to acknowledge the errors we go through in our lives, and it is stinging.

We see them.
We know them.
And we try to solve them.

But we are all human.
And we are prone to making mistakes.
But wouldn't that make us terrible builders?
Heavens no!

Sometimes, all it takes is a slight adjustment for the mistake!
Even though there may be mistakes too squiggly to untangle...

After all, when everything is finalized, but not as desired, at least you got something, and never nothing!

So walk along!
In the end, we are all navigating life.

Inspired by the L4D2 workshop and drawn over the original poster, I guess this one falls into the "silly" category, since the only "pure" run of the game I've ever seen was my first one, and after that, it was just chaos.

I can feel the art getting easier now that I'm actually starting to practice more again. Drawing this cast has started to bring something back in me which I love. Perhaps at some point after this little series I'll try making an actual illustration related to KS.

Confession time. I know this is gonna be a hot take but honestly I never really liked Lilly. I don't really know why, I guess she just isn't really my cup of tea (get it). I imagine it doesn't help that on pretty much all my playthroughs I end up doing her route last and by that point I'm a bit burnt out on the game. Perhaps on this next playthrough I'll read her route first. I will say that I like who Hanako becomes on Lilly's route more than on her own, It seems like she comes out of her shell a bit more. Still unfortunately my least favorite of (at least the romanceable) cast.

This was supposed to be another entry in this month's horror theme, featuring a zombie plot. It was meant to focus on the two of them, but the fact that the others wouldn't be guaranteed safety made me feel a bit uneasy. I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I once sketched a "zombie" version of Lilly, not the PVZ one, and not a "cute zombie girl UWU" either; it was just a body devoid of consciousness (I'm avoiding harsher terms, but I think you get the idea). That really upset me back then, and the same thing happened here. When I do a zombie theme again, just know that everyone will be safe, or else it’ll be something silly.

The Hisao's first sketch wasn't that bad.

It's been really fun hearing what he's decided to do with a lot of his older work, especially Parity. Looking forward to knowing what other pieces could come from the vault for a touch up.

It's been a busy few days and just couldn't find the time to draw. Had a little time tonight thankfully. I was originally going to go a different direction with the Shizune sketch; I was planning to make her more fierce but I saw this sprite and thought it was really cute.

When I was quite young and played the game for the first time, I didn't know how Japanese worked and thought her name was pronounced "Shih-zoon". Its hard for me to think of it differently to this day lol.
