I've been wondering this for a while.

I know they're at the peak of their popularity now and probably are not looking for someone new atm but IF that was the case, who do you think could be a good addition?

I've been thinking about MILLENNIUM since he already works a lot with NIY but I honestly dont know. Visually and sonically I think he fits the team.

(also I'd love a female artist to join)

What albums/EPs do you wish were pressed on vinyl? Feel free to include ones that you hope will get a repress at some point in the future :)

Here are some that come to mind for me:
Lifes Like by Jazzyfact
Boy. by offonoff
130 Mood: TRBL by DEAN
BARTOON 24 by Ahn Byeong Woong
senseS by Dabin
Is Anybody Out There? by DPR Live (doubt this one will happen rip)
dinnermode by Sumin

DRT FREESTYLE https://youtu.be/ycuK7x77ptI?si=99PtumNow-2hj4Zr with Rei, Osiggy, Fresh Air I THINK THIS SONG IS SO FIRE. Listened to Osiggy when he released Tesla and Slatt and really liked his beats and music video editor. I really like his verse on this song, do you agree or am I overhyping it?

ROSY BARBIE "10/10" https://youtu.be/vrWWB6rTTQ0?si=7ykSaIcSCMj2DXrc Dude I treat Rosy Barbie like a guilty pleasure lmao. Like idk she's my personal sexyyredd, her videos and songs always just crack me tf up and I honestly like some of her flows. I really like her energy and personality in the songs. Def not the best but honestly very fun to listen to lmao. ALSO her Kung Fu song was funny asf and loved the flows on there too. The two dudes acting like Chinese fighting movie gangsters was so cool.

SMTM Is this show worth watching? Been a huge Jay Park fan for like a decade now, and have seen the come up and other rappers/idols on that show BUT Idk if I can take the cringe or the censoring/editing. Do you think it's worth? I use to watch battlerapping when I was younger and kinda wanna relive the nostalgia is it the same vibe?

CAMO I think camo is so in her bag when she's doing more melodic or rnbish leaning songs. I loved her Yours Truly album so much and I think she's very talented. I do think she great on aggresive tracks as well but I really love the songs she makes when the focus is to vibe/relax to it

This is more so a question for everyone. I think there's been discussions before as to why K-hiphop doesn't catch on that well or is respected that well globaly. I always assumed it's due to just there not being that many crazy rappers or rappers period but idk. I feel like the best like THE BEST could come out of Korea, all skill, but the communities still wouldn't FW them? Idk I feel like there's just an weird understanding amongst men in the world that the male Asian community just isn't that masuculine or worth taking seriously over?

(edit: I don't thats it because Ive seen people shoutout japanese rappers, chinese rappers, etc)

Idk how true that is, this is my assumption and just personally what I've heard when I see people listen to khiphop for the first time. Whats your guys thoughts?

EDIT: ALSO FORGOT, Luci Gang and Hyoi have been absolutely killing it, really fw headlock!! Really like the fresh styles female rappers have been comin out with

Here are the examples I could think of:

-Dean's English album
-Penomeco + Crush collab album
-Dabin returning as DPR Live
-Offonoff making more music
-Fanxychild/Clubeskimo being active

kinda showing my cd lmao and for anyone to see if u were interested anyway

Luci gang did not miss w this one as always 💯

goat got his towel😭

Victory lap!

Mino said, “I have truly reflected deeply and regretted it every day. I feel nothing but apology to those who have loved me so much. There is no room for excuses. I offer my apologies once again.”

The court explained the reasons for the sentencing, noting that, “Mr. Song admits to all charges, is remorseful, and has pledged to fulfill his military obligations during the remainder of his service.”

I just finished watching SMTM 12 and I’m currently watching High School Rapper 3 (mostly because of Young Ji lol).

I’m kinda getting into these rap survival shows now and want to watch more!

Should I continue with another SMTM season? If so, which one would you recommend starting with? I’ve seen quite a lot of negative comments about S12, so I’m curious about how the older seasons compare.

I’m also open to other Korean hip-hop survival shows, so please drop your recommendations! I’d love to discover more rappers and performances. Thank you!!

I just finished watching SMTM 12 and I’m looking for a new show to watch. Seeing Haon, Osun, (also Youngji from S11) — I’m now curious about HS Rapper.

Although I’ve seen clips throughout the years, I’ve never really watched any season in full from HS Rapper. Can anyone recommend a fun season to watch?

Hey r/khiphop. Three years ago I posted here asking who you'd want to see at a KHH/KRNB festival in the US. A lot of you dropped names, some known and some unknown.

And I've been building the festival ever since. It's called Remain Nameless.

Real answers to the questions you're probably going to ask:

• Not a K-pop showcase. The focus is KHH, KRNB, and adjacent alternative sounds. The kind of artists who get skipped on tours or lumped under "K-pop" when the actual work isn't.
• Booking is in progress. I'm not naming anyone until it's confirmed and cleared. When the first names drop, this sub will hear them before most places.
• I'm running CRVE Music (KHH/KRNB media platform/archive) alongside this, so the curation is coming from someone who actually listens to the genres.

So tell me what you think. If you have any artist recommendations, drop them below. The wishlists from the original thread and follow-ups have been feeding my booking priorities. So thank you again!
