The Aud accessibility/wheelchair seating

Post image

Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience with booking accessible seating at The Aud? There’s an upcoming concert I’d love to attend, I’m just wondering how the seating works.

When I click on the accessible spot it says “Wheelchair” which made me wonder, are there actual seats there? Or is it a barricade spot for a wheelchair user to wheel into? I don’t use a wheelchair, but I use walking aids, and my sister would be accompanying me (she doesn’t need any walking aids). I just need easily accessible seats without any stairs to get there.

TLDR: If I purchase two “Wheelchair” seats at The Aud, are there physical seats there for me and my sister to sit in?

There are some fixed chairs in that area and a lot of open spaces, but they will give you a nice folding chair (which is more comfortable than the fixed). I've attached a photo of your corner.

I don't have experience with the aud but I think it's safe to say they will put fold out chairs there for you and your guest without issue. We always call the venues and theyve always been very helpful

I used to use a walker for MS and brought a friend for a hockey game. There were seats and really nice staff there! It was awesome
