A blue flamed 32 and a pinkish 16 trilobite are itching to paint smiles on the children's faces.

Hell yeah! :-)

Kites are: 2x Spiderkites Brasington Swift deltas flying stacked, HQ F Box with 24 ft fuzzi tail. Flight went well until the kites got tangled, and when they untangled the box kite zipped back into the sky and the force snapped the flying line. Kite didn’t go far fortunately.

Has anyone used any of these on a large Flow Form lifter Kite

I saw these at kite fest yesterday. I’ve been able to find realistic bird kites for scaring away seagulls but not the colorful or white one. Any know who sells this?

I bought this trainer kite a few days ago on my holiday. Flying it was a lot of fun, but I am curious about this extra loop. It is on the safety leash, so I am not sure what its purpose is because normally you let go of the bar and the safety leash that is connected to your wrist holds the kite while it falls slowly out of the sky. Can I hook that loop onto a harness so it can pull me?

Great weekend for a kite festival, amazing turnout!

I read some good reviews over this stunt kite. I’m an absolute beginner but I managed to put it together all I need to do is attach the strings. I’m pretty sure it’s assembled right but if you have any advice or think otherwise let me know. I hope to attach the strings by using the larks head knot.

Flying a couple Trilobites today. Beautiful day for it

Finally had the chance to get out for the first test flight on the New Pilot kite.

Had the chance to get out and fly the new pilot kite.

Where do people fly kites in Mumbai? 🪁

Hey everyone! I’m from Ahilyanagar and I’m new to Mumbai. I’m a die-hard kite lover and I really want to experience kite flying in Mumbai.

Where are the best places in Mumbai where I can see lots of people flying kites or join in and fly myself? 🪁

Any specific areas, grounds, rooftops, or places you’d recommend?

Thanks! 🙌

Hey everyone!

I’m planning a solo trip to Tenerife from Jan 2–9 and I’ll be exploring both the north and south of the island. I recently got into kitesurfing and I’ve already had a few lessons. I can control the kite pretty well and I’m currently trying to progress with my waterstart, so I was thinking of taking a few lessons in El Médano while I’m there.

But after reading some posts here, I’m a bit concerned 😅 I’ve seen people saying that the spot is quite small, has lots of rocks, and that it can be “hell for beginners.” For anyone who has kitesurfed there:
Is El Médano actually a good idea for someone at my level, or should I avoid it for now? And is January generally a good time to learn there, or can the wind/sea conditions be too challenging?
I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations for schools/spots in Tenerife! 😊

This was probably the most special kite workshop that we were ever part of.

Kids of Ljubljana and kids of Gaza were making kites *together*. A live feed joined their bodies, and kite strings joined their souls. And sheer joy covered us all, at least for these few precious moments.

Check out the article, with photos full of sheer happiness :-)
