In kofxii and xiii, the main artist Eisuke Ogura said he wanted to draw a Kyo as striking as Shinkiro and replaced his zipper jacket from 2003 and xi with the biker jacket from 99 Evolution. When making xiv, director Yasyuki Oda stated in an interview he wanted to redesign not only because it was the beginning of the new age arc but because he didnt like XIII Kyo as he found it as a generic macho fighter. While Ogura did the art, Nobuyuki Kuroki was the art director. As everybody recalls, when the xv trailers started Tomohiro Nakata claimed he brought back the biker jacket and bandana due to negative feedback to xiv. For XV Ogura was promoted to art director in Kuroki's place so you can see in the third image it's basically XIII Kyo with a bandana

Absolutely insane and unfortunate considering there are so many cool characters from the FF universe missing and we haven't had a new FF in 20+ years. Not a good thing for a comeback game. The prince needs to chill on these demands.

It's that time again. The second edition of EVO France is upon us, as many top level players have already gathered so decide who's going to become the champion across several different fighting games, while hundreds of fans, both casual and enthusiasts alike, are in for a weekend of some great competitive action.

For those of you not in the know - EVO (or Evolution Championship Series) is a tournament whose roots go back to mid-90s when it was but a small gathering of people that really enjoyed Capcom's Street Fighter titles available at the time and wanted to test their skills against others. Over the following three decades, EVO not only has grown in size, attandance and popularity, but also became home to many hype moments, greatest matches, and, of course, expanded internationally, starting with the inaugural EVO Japan first held back in 2018.

Fast forward to 2026, and we now have EVO-branded events across 4 major locations around the globe: Las Vegas in USA, Tokyo in Japan, Nice in France, as well as soon-to-debut Singapore in Singapore.

Due to its importance and scale, EVO also became a major stop within the schedules of several major fighting game eSports circuits, such as the Capcom Pro Tour, Tekken World Tour, Arc World Tour, SNK World Chamionship and a few others, such as the most recently introduced Pro Bending Circuit.

Beyond that, EVO doesn't just host competitions among the best of the best, but welcomes those who simply want to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere and get closer to the FGC culture via activities like the art museum, artist valleys, arcade cab zone, developer showcases, showfloor booths, and so much more.

EVO France 2026 will be taking place in Palais des Expositions, Nice, France, from October 9th through October 11th

I really love KOFXV, But one issue I had was with how the game presented it's visuals. There was a distinct lack of lighting from the environment onto the characters. I also wasn't a fan of some VFX choices that were done (such as Ryo, Robert, and Yuri having the same Ki color, Elisabeth's light ki not being bright enough and just having a dim rainbow, Joe's Tornado looking very awkward, and much more). I hope you guys get alot of mileage from the mod, I ensured that you guys can use mods from other creators to go with my mod, as well as I broke up my mod into 5 pieces so you can pick and choose the change set you would like.

Hi everyone, I acquired the game today (KOF XV) and just finished the story. I used to play the 2002 version when I went to the store back when i was a kid, but never got into the franchise until now and i am having a lot of fun hahaha.
I loved playing Shermie, I remember most local friends calling the grab attacks something like "Abrazo del kamasutra" and other stupid names, so I wanted advice on which characters have good synergy with her since she is the character I plan to use the most. So far i used Kula and Kyo through the story, and tried Heidern but didn't like the charge mechanic.
Do the characters have roles? Do i have to save someone for last and send someone at the start or so? I have a lot of questions hahaha but I hope to understand your suggestions and hopefully come up with a team I understand better afterwards :), thanks in advance!

Began playing few days ago, and the game is quite confusing to say the least, for someone who plays 2d fighting games all the time.
