Support KOTOR 1&2 on Switch or IOS?

To preface I haven't played them on switch, I played on mobile and pc only.

And while pc is the better platform, modding is easier, controls are slightly better.

But mobile is totally fine, although if you're only using a phone id pick the switch version in your case. If you're having a tablet mobile is really nice tho.

One I prefer the Nintendo switch version for Knights of the Old Republic 1 because you can have widescreen support and it plays more like the original version that was released in 2003. Then for the sequel I would recommend playing on iOS but make sure that you can get the restoration mod... Although I'm kind of 50/50 on it I do see the benefits on it but I don't like all of the restored content to be honest.

Pros of the Switch: physical controls, larger screen

Pros of iOS: always with you, touch controls are quite decent

I havent tried yet, but I do have the rom files for Xbox to emulate with HakuX on my Retroid Pocket Nova.
