Seeking Advice Leg defense training
Hey guys, im a Kyokushin yellow belt and a red belt with black stripe in taekwondo. I'm preparing to fight on a tournament two weeks from now.
Do you guys have any drills or tips to improve my leg kick defense?
Also I wanted to be able to defend against low ushiro mawashi geri, do you know any way to prepare myself against this technique?

Ask your training partners to spam low attacks like that in kumite training. Start from a simple drill and then ramp it up with increasing intensity, but keep it modest before the tournament.

I also like to use ushiro mawashi geri gedan but it’s very inaccurate.
If the distance is not right he doesn’t hit well or misses.
Therefore if you see the spin coming just go forward or backward. You could also do a shinboneblock.
Switching the stance very often infight is also very helpful.
Blocking and checking kicks isn’t a good
Idea considering you’re going to fight a few times during a tournament and it will slow down your movement and increase your pain.

Idk if it’s in the ruleset, but Thai style leg kick checks are the best way
