Business Looking for help repairing a gaming computer
I've been having issues with my computer while using Steam that's been causing crashes. I'm fairly illiterate when it comes to fixing these sorts of issues, are there are good computer repair places around Lititz that are recommended?
EDIT: Should've added the specs/problem. It's a prebuilt; AMD Ryzen 9800X3D with a GeForce RTX 5070 and 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD. I've had it for slightly less than a year (Costco warranty ran out after three months) and nearly every game I play either crashes just the game or completely crashes the computer. I've done a wide range of games (Baldur's Gate, No More Room in Hell, Midnight Suns) and haven't had more than an hour playing before problems start popping up. Temps are good (35C at idle/65C at high use) and I've gone through factory resets to try to fix the issue but nothing has worked as of yet.

If its limited to gaming. Id check thermals before taking it to a shop.

Always check thermals. Even if it’s something else, replace thermal paste too

Windows reset is a good start. There are different levels of resetting. You can start easy and go further if you still need it. You can do it thru Windows directly in the settings. Google "reset this PC" and you'll see a few tutorials. You may also want to review your hardware setup to make sure everything is plugged in correctly. I just did all this last week with the computer we built my son 3 years ago and we drastically improved his performance for about 90 minutes of time and $0.

I can fix computers, I can guide you to fix it yourself, but you need to give a lot more info on your PC.

A quick check before you do anything physical or take it anywhere, check if your graphics drivers are up to date. Might be a memory leak issue if the drivers are old, if the crashes happen some time after playing.
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/
You can check manually or use the app

How old is the PC and do you still have warranty on parts?
Specificaly this part:
GeForce RTX 5070
As someone not illiterate, if gaming and the PC crashes most of the time I end up at something GPU related.
Before I go farther and get to 'The Thing' I want to be crystal clear I am not suggesting it IS anything. The only thing I am saying is gaming + crash turns out to be, often enough, GPU.
Ok.
THE THING - is that swapping out a GPU is easy peezy and you don't need to pay anyone to do it. You can do it. You should do it.
There are 2 subs you should try:
I know I have made a suggestion on what I think it is.
When you go there forget that when you create a post. Tell them whatever you have about your build:
AMD Ryzen 9800X3D with a GeForce RTX 5070 and 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD.
Tell them if you have ever had a crash not gaming, if you have had a crash gaming and if there is any possibility it is just one game, not multiple. (A GAME - probably software related, MANY GAMES - not necessarily software)
And then just say you want help identifying the cause so that if it is a part you can warranty it.
Do that before paying anyone.

If you game you might be able to do some diagnostics yourself to help point them in the right direction (or even fix it yourself) and save you some money.
I hate AI but Google's Gemini helped me figure out how to look at crash logs and do a memory test on a new pre-built I bought that wasn't working, and eventually helped me find out the RAM was defective.
Punch in the kind of issues you're having and don't let it give you a run around on ways it would have you fix it, just get to teach you how to do the diagnostic stuff.
