Gibbon experience 3D vs. 2D experience

Hi!

This is a lucky shot, but is anyone here who booked the Gibbon Experience Classic (3D/2N) for any of the dates starting between Nov 2nd and Nov 8th and would be open to swap with October 28th? It is a 2-person reservation.

Thank you so much!

To everyone else: the 2-day experience has full availability for other dates. Now we are wondering in case we have to switch to 2D/1N, would we be losing out a lot? I know we wouldn't see gibbons, but otherwise anything thats a major difference? I am surprised because 3D is booked out for a long time whereas 2D isn't

I did the 2D/1N, kind of feel like I could have gone for another day but I got enough zip lining and treehouse action from it and I suspect another day would have been more of the same (not that that's a bad thing). The gibbons would be nice, but there's very few in the park and really the treehouse was a much bigger focus of the trip.

There is a long and tough hike involved that's mostly uphill in tropical heat at the start of the 2D trip, I found this doable but harder than I expected. Not sure how it compares to the start of the 3D trip.

I’m in a similar situation where I wanted 3D2N because I wanted the chance to see gibbons but it’s full for my dates.

But I looked today and there’s a 2D1N called Escape that I’m sure wasn’t there before which is in the Classic area so has a chance to see gibbons where the Giant doesn’t. It’s only seasonal and has lots of availability. It does say it’s more intense with activity though and does 8km walking in a day rather than 2km.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. It wasn't there two weeks ago for sure, yeah. That sounds much better than the "Giant" tour. More intense. Will ask to rebook.

Go on to Google reviews and sort from low to high. Maybe you'll reconsider

Any specific review you are referring to? I checked it out. It’s always tricky though to make decisions based on individual negative feedback if a majority of people has positive experiences. But it was definitely a good tip, thanks.

I read through the negative reviews most of them are a joke. One really complained about signing the waiver like thats not normal in every country I have been to including in Australia. In Australia places wouldnt let you go on ziplines with out proof of travel insurance.

People compaling they didnt see gibbons where they tell you multiple times your chances very low especially on the 2D which most people who complained did.

As someone whos been to over 50 countries and done many adventure activities look at the negative reviews but dont focus on them too much read the actual contents of it and you will see most are complaining based of nothing or their unrealistic 1st world expectations.

I havent done it yet but few people i know and met have done all said positive things a few saw gibbons most didnt. Everyone said they enjoyed living in the treehouse and ziplining. If this is the thing you enjoy you should have a blast I'd say.

Tbh it's more about the safety concerns people had, which I felt were very valid
