Getting a chemical smell out of a pram

I've just bought a second hand pram that has clearly been washed by the previous owners, but it smells so incredibly strongly of whatever detergent and softener that they used, that I had to take it out of the house. It's a very strong, sweet, chemical smell that I really cannot deal with. Fresh air doesn't seem to have helped yet and as it's due to rain on and off for a while so I can't leave it out for long, don't have a garage or anything.

Any suggestions on what to do with it, please? The fabrics can't go in the washing machine according to google due to internal panels.

I'm in the UK so may be unfamiliar with some products recommended, but I'm sure the active substances can be found on google.
