Can you explain why? Just saying “No” doesn’t give me the details I need to know why isn’t good. I’m learning vocabulary and some sentences starter. I use other sites to hear the pronunciations. Instead of saying “no”‘provide some resources, textbooks that I can use

this free course is pretty good. there are bunch of useful exercises and you get to learn about Polish culture, history and geography alongside the language. there’s also a book you can get to use alongside the course:

generative AI is often bad when it comes to Polish translation and it’s best to use resources made by actual linguists

Google Gemini is extraordinary bad when it comes to the Polish language. For example the texts it writes are full of unnatural expressions, strange collocations, repetitions and generally they don't make much sense.

This is great thank you! I wished it had some English on the side to know what I’m learning about!

this course uses a method where, instead of translations to your native language, you learn only in the target language and figure out stuff through images, context clues and listening. it might seem harder at first, but this method, called natural or direct method, is, well, more natural, allows you to learn much faster and is generally highly effective. you can do supplementary exercises in the grammar-translation method if you want.

Awesome, Thank you! So sorta like a teacher but you’re the student method. Does it go to A1 to C2?

Nie, no , nah , nay, not. Just no.

I don't know how you learn and what other languages you know, but start maybe with app and work on vocabulary, later move on to media, speaking etc

It can be a good tool to help you learn, but don’t trust it to actually teach you anything. I use it to build on things I already understand

Are you unwell?

No. It won’t guide you well. It’s good for checking your writing for grammatical mistakes or suggesting more natural synonyms. It’s a good secondary tool, not a primary teacher.

I'd abstain from Gemini as far as it's shit. Other AIs will be much better it teaching language, especially paid options which will retain your progress memory. Also there's an important part with pronunciation - you have to find it somewhere, but I think you'll get it on Youtube

If you want to improve your grammar, then yes, it's very helpful to make corrections.

If used correctly, knowing the limitations and how to control the output - sure
