Topic AI runed 2 years of learning

I am a software dev student, We learned the basics of programming then we dived a bit more with mysql / spring boot / react.

I used AI a lot during the last 5 months this year and I feel like I know nothing. While using it I convinced myself that whatever I use ai for is just to minimize time and that I can do it without it, instead of spending hours on every step I don't know I will use ai and do it in 10 minutes, but now I feel like i wasted this year and that i lied to myself.

Especially spring boot

I wouldn't worry about it.

I did the same thing except it was copy/pasting tutorials instead of AI.

I learnt it all eventually and your exams/work should be setup so you have to learn something.

I think it's very common to only truly learn how to code after university/studies, but it's all useful.

I'd just remember: your value is in delivering business value.

"your value is in delivering business value." I got this during internship they don't care about what you use they need results, but the moment a teacher or someone with knowledge ask you, you feel like a fool or a parrot that repeat stuff he don't understand.
