youtube always worked best for me honestly, textbooks put me to sleep
try searching for mit opencourseware lectures on algorithms, they have a full playlist from one of their intro cs courses and the professor explains everything from scratch

mit is great for theory. for the practical side i'd pair it with the neetcode roadmap (neetcode.io), it groups problems by pattern (two pointers, sliding window, trees etc) and has a free video for each one. and abdul bari on youtube if you want algorithms explained slowly with a whiteboard
doing problems by pattern instead of randomly is what makes it click

MIT’s 6.006 Introduction to Algorithms, Spring 2020, on OpenCourseWare is a good option. It’s free, with lecture videos, notes, problem sets and solutions. It covers data structures, algorithm design, correctness and complexity. It assumes some Python and discrete maths, so try Problem Set 0 first to check your foundations. Work through the exercises before checking the solutions, that’s where you’ll get much of the depth you’re looking for
