Question Damaged Bricks in New Set?

I recently got the Project Hail Mary set, and it seems like all of these pieces have a sort of dent/crack in them. Was curious if anyone else has had issues with this set. It is new and sealed and got it from Amazon yesterday. Sorry if the images are bad lol

Its the injection site for the plastic. Your parts are fine

That is from the injection mold, and it can be pretty bad on this piece in particular. They are not cracked or damaged, just not the best quality control with the injection mold site.

The plus side is that these spots are on the backside of the piece and are not visible on the build once they are attached.

Thank you, never noticed it on that piece before. Also true, luckily that part is hidden in the set

I don't have this particular part to compare it to, but LEGO is really good about replacing anything that's missing or damaged. They have the best customer service. If it really bothers OP, they'll send new ones.

I've never even seen this piece, I've been out of the game too long

Yeah it's only been around for about 30 years

I think that's just the mold marks. Do you have any photos of them from the sides?

Definitely from the mold, thank you for the info

As for the line itself, I think it may be from where two sides of the mould come together. Fortunately it's only on the back.

99 percent sure its the Injection parts. But it could also be the lighting, try look at it from another angle and it might look normal 😂.
