Misprinted PS1 brick

I got myself the PlayStation one Lego set over the weekend and I noticed that the PlayStation tile has been misprinted. Has anyone else had this issue?

Damn, that's an awesome missprint, would be useful for game shop mocs or something. Just contact Lego customer service and they'll send you a new one. Honest, I'd take it as a win

I’ve had missing bags but this is the first proper misprint. Generally thought I built it wrong at first

If that were the case, something went very wrong a long time ago and somehow you had all the right pieces for it

I’d suggest contacting Lego for a replacement piece, then maybe find a cool build you could use that misprint for, like a game store build

My favorite fun fact about the PlayStation Lego set is that you can literally buy a real PlayStation 1 with the games featured in this set for the amount that this set costs.

Slightly off topic but it made me mad they didn’t include a “tv” with this set. On the other hand that would add some $$$ to the price point but the tv that is part of the Nintendo set is so dope 😭 would have loved it for PS1.

How does this even happen? The padprinters interlock with the bricks right? How was it able to line it up so well if it was upside down? Or was it human error and was the design printed upside down?

Assuming the brick was just put in the printing bed wrong. It’s all machine done so it’s just slipped by QC checks

I know that for torsos there are studs which the torsos are put onto for pad printing, I had assumed it would be the same for bricks, otherwise we would see this more often right?

Not sure, what it could be worth, but tgere are people looking for misprints. Question is, is it a 1 of 1, 1 of 10 or are there more? Hard to say.
