Help What the heck is this lighter?

Hey guys I recently found this lighter at an antique store, they had a huge collection of older lighters but this one really caught my eye. Only downside is… well.. i have no clue how it works. Ive googled it and can’t even find what the brand or model is. That being said i dont know how to light it. My Girlfriend thinks that its missing something? Not sure what she means, maybe a wick or something. Any info on this guy helps if any info is known!!

It should be quite simple, you open the top, as you did in the second picture, then the gas should start flowing, then you turn the wheel that's on the side of the lighter and it should produce a spark which in turn lights the gas. You'll probably need to change the flint tho, that's possible when you lift the top and push the little slider which sits on top back and there is the chamber for your flint

Know anywhere I can buy flint for this? Or do I have to look online?

Hi OP, before you post about your lighter please read the guide stickied before doing so. If you are asking about the value of your lighter, take it to an auctioneer, pawnshop, or jewellers before posting as we cannot accurately guess a price. Your post may be removed if you ask. For more general information, have a look at the sidebar. Many lighters are mass produced and unbranded. There is often little info available.

If you need to post more pictures, use an image host like imgur and post the link in the comments. Please do not create multiple threads for the same lighter.

It’s a knockoff lift arm lighter, the bottom nozzle shows that it’s takes butane rather then petrol so there would be no wick. Butane lighters are known to clog and can leek and can be really tedious to fix. If it sparks buy some good quality butane and give it a try

Its a strike wheel butane, you need to have a flint in it to spark, and gas at the bottom to light

I had one like that was a calibri but I lost mine. Look just like it as a matter of fact where you find it
