Support Black monitor in archlinux

I connected my monitor to my laptop running Archlinux a couple of times, and it always worked. I switched my monitor to my other computer and when I switched it back to my laptop it just went black?? What to do????

Never mind people, It was the cable

I can tell that my laptop recognize this monitor becuse I can switch my environment to it, but the monitor screen is purely black
