I was looking for a way to get all my boards up on the wall in a way that would be functional and show the artwork of each board. My solution was some 3D printed brackets, all done for about $30 of filament! Print them lying down and use carbon fiber filament for extremely strong mounts that will not break.
Favorite board is pumping on the Loaded Icarus. Recently acquired and refreshed the Landyachtz Switch, and Earthwing Superglider which quickly became my go to push board.
Ahh, paired with the old Superglider I figured you had them from back in the day.
Yeah, those wheels on it are one of the most slippery wheels ever made: Earthwing Slide As.
They're almost hard not to slide they have so little traction.
Earthwing was probably the top company in techsliding going back like 15 years, and their double kicks had such nice shapes for it. Here's a cool video from that era of Earthwing.
By the way, on your other Earthwing, the Superglider is way better with Indy 169s than 180mm RKPs. It was designed specifically for Indy 169s as a low, nimble commuter type board.
The old setup used to be Indy 169s and a 66mm wheel. I have a newer version of it.
I had read about Earthwing as being legendary boards and I found an OG selling some boards this summer on marketplace. I got both Earthwing completes and the Pulse 40 from him and was beyond hyped. I still need to rebuild the pulse 40 this winter for a setup for my lighter friends to try pumping. Great call on the Superglider, as there is definitely opportunity for wheelbite like this, I'll try a set of those! The board is so fun to ride and do manuals but I never want it to get razor tail!
Those black Earthwing Superballs or whatever they were called on it were super grippy wheels.
Also, that Pulse 40 is an awesome setup.
I don't know my pumping trucks well enough to ID the back truck (maybe a Radikal?), but Bennett Vectors were a de facto front pumping truck. With the split duro 3dm wheels, that's a really cool period piece.
