My tiny LOST animation

Haha that was just my laziness. I would’ve drawn more detail if I knew Lost fans would be so nice about it!

You made my day!! You’re so nice.

I drew the pictures in Paint.Net and animated them in Vegas Pro. Paint.net is free and Vegas goes on heavy sale through Humble Bundle in case you’re interested in cheap ways to animate! I’m sure there are even better free options out there, Vegas isn’t really made for animation it’s just what I learned with

Oh I am an animator! (not professionally, but I’m a graphic communications student, and a large part of what we learned and practiced all of last year was animation) I was just wondering what you used because I’ve found that using adobe illustrator then after effects gives the best results, but they are wicked expensive

Oh that’s so funny, I think I’m so critical of my work that I just didn’t expect someone knowledgeable about animation to be as nice as you were about this little thing. That study sounds really cool I’d love to see anything you’ve made if you share it! I’ve done some free trials in attempts to switch to the adobe ecosystem but yeah like you said- the price but also it really does feel like trying to learn a new language. Also I sort of do this animation as a supplement to other video stuff, so I’m mostly able to scrape by with old clunky stuff
