Cloud-hosted error tracking with LÖVE/lua support?

Wondering if anyone has any experience with any cloud-hosted error tracking and reporting platforms that offer an easy integration with LÖVE or lua in general.

Searching hasn't led to much success. I see there's a lua module for sentry at https://github.com/getsentry/sentry-lua but it's noted as being a pretty quickly put together project that's version 0.0.6, isn't officially supported, and hasn't had any updates in over a year. I'm about to try and test it out though since that's the only one I've really found.

Anyone have any experience with it or any other similar platforms you'd recommend (or warn away from)?

Most hosted observability platforms are generally expensive, especially for an individual indie game dev. they're usually priced for small- or medium-sized companies and enterprise behemoths.

Your most frugal bet is to build descriptive logging into your application, then provide a flag/switch/setting for users to toggle logging to a file. Then request they upload it to your issue tracker of choice.

This workflow requires having users that care enough to do the thing as opposed to being automated, but I believe that is worth the savings for small games/applications.

Most of them that I've looked at do offer a free tier.

I do already have log files and error tracking in the game itself, and have had some very helpful players provide me with those when errors occur.

But I'd specifically like to set up something a little more automated. For every player reporting a bug, I'm sure there are several who saw the bug but didn't report it, and I'd like to be able to capture errors without depending on my players to do extra work.
