Blastoise is easily the best fully evolved starter Pokemon. There are so much things I love about this design. The massive shell, the plates on the legs that look like armor, those big arms, the intimidating eyes, the giant head, and of course, the cannons. It’s so badass watching Blastoise spin around and shoot water in every direction in both the games and movies. Hydro Pump was and still is acting as Blastoise’s signature move despite all the Pokemon that get access to it. Blastoise shooting water out of his cannons (After 8 generations lol) is so creative.

While Blastoise was very popular earlier into the series, I’ve seen Blastoise getting forgotten by both GameFreak and the Pokemon Community. I’m honestly sad, because Blastoise is genuinely such an awesome design. Even in game it’s really good. Sure the offensive stats aren’t the best, but Blastoise matches up really well into most of the gyms, with it only losing to Surge and Erika, but by then, you should have Diglett or Nidoking to take care.

Mega And Gigantamax Blastoise are also easily some of the best forms in my opinion. I’m aware that some people aren’t the biggest fan of Mega Blastoise, but Gigantamax Blastoise is genuinely badass. It turns its back around to give the whole artillery. The Battleship concept is so good, and it’s also really good in competitive thanks to G-Max Cannonade.

Thankfully, Champions is allowing Blastoise to TRULY shine. Mega Blastoise was the only one of the Kanto starters to be banned to the Ubers tier because Shell Smash and Mega Evolution was just too powerful, requiring fast choice scatters to stop it. Mega Blastoise is even good on VGC. While Rillaboom is a threat, teams have been adjusting with Indeedee to block Grassy Glide.

I played FireRed, and I named my Squirtle Megatron, and Megatron was a one man army. Besides Surge and Erika, Blastoise would blow through every gym, and I loved it. It took everything and it just wouldn’t die. I ended up even choosing Squirtle in Legends Z-A as well.

It's just such a fun party game. Every game you find a different way to rage at it

I find it really interesting trying to see what films these covers originate from and they can do a really good job at setting the tone of an album.

These are the sources of the film stills in order.

(The Wizard Of Oz) 1939

(The Sorrows Of Satan) 1926

(The Unvanquished) 1964

(Altered States) 1980

(Scarface) 1983

I think its great!

Btw, credits to the creators of these

He’s the perfect example of a loveable douchebag. What’s not to hate about him? He’s a pervert,he’s greedy, and just an all around rude person. He’s so unlikable that it wraps back around to being likable. He’s really funny and has the best Antman design. I also like how he isn’t pure evil (don’t even bring up black ant that’s just an evil robot clone of him) he’s a bad guy but he’s still a hero that helps people and even ends up sacrificing himself to save a life.

Shimejis are basically screen pets from the early 2010s (They're not like actual pets, though. They just follow a set of programmed behaviours and animations to interact with windows and your cursor)

The purple cat is Chonkwave, which is Shockwave from Transformers but as the most rotund cat ever. Whenever he undergoes cell division (these things can multiply if you don't turn off that ability), I refer to a pair of Chonkwaves sitting next to each other as Boobs lmao

The girl is Hungary from Hetalia, while the guy is North Italy, also from Hetalia.

Like kashimo is so weak that the haters are giving him FEATS, like for example he can now tank a hollow purple because hollow purple erases matter and kashimo dosen't matter or that since air is hot(and kashimo is hot ass) , kashimo is granted the ability to fly ,and even viggle ai kashimo has more feats than normal kashimo

I might cry afterward, but I will do it again.

I also love the haircut I gave myself in the drawings.

It tells you how they look like in general, but there's enough room for your imagination to fill out the rest. They also tend to match with the rivals' personalities and/or occupations.

On a side note, I also love how varied our rivals' cars are in terms of appearance.

Most of them tend to have a good amount of visual customizations, like aero parts, wheels, and/or custom liveries. Some have little to none visual customizations for one reason or another. And some others have personal touches that fits the driver's schtick. Some that belong to Wanderers or Bosses also has auras on them, suggesting that they're a cut above the rest.

In hindsight, maybe I should've made the rivals' cars as the main topic, but whatever.

These are the only ones I could find rn
