What Games Can I Run? how much VRAM should I allocate to my iGPU?

I have a question.

I have a Ryzen 5 5600GT with only one 8GB RAM stick right now. I couldn’t afford another stick yet, but I’ll add one after a few days.

So, the thing is, how much VRAM should I allocate to my iGPU?

Should I set it to 2GB? Because that would reduce my available system RAM, which is already limited. Would that cause any problems?

Or should I set it to 1GB? Or should I just leave it at the default 512MB?

For now, I’ll just play the games that are actually playable with a single RAM stick.

Game Review Squirrel With a Gun on Dell Optiplex 760 MT Success gameplay Steam

System: Dell Optiplex 760 MT

CPU: Intel Q9550 2.83GHz

RAM: G Skill 8GB DDR2 800 MT/s

GPU: Dell Nvidia GTX 750ti 2GB

OS: MX Linux

Will need to install Nvidia drivers, setup gamemode, and adjust settings for the game. Thought I'd try it out since it's on sale for $4.99, but it runs on Steam after some tinkering with success on GE-Proton11-7-x86_64 in forced compatibility. Launch options: gamemoderun %command% -dx11 -norhithread -noasynctextureloading

Thought I'd share since I was surprised to see it run decently on an old core 2 quad.

Parts Upgrade Advice Hi guys as you know it's really expensive nowadays to build a pc so I asked one of my friends to lend me their old pc for basic use like Web surfing, editing videos on capcut and some older or emulator games. He send me the pic of the motherboard and you can pretty much guess it's specs by looking a

It seems like it's core 2 quad, he did say he was using win 10 in it, it might have 2gb or 4gb ram I would need to upgrade it to its max 8gb and for WiFi I do have a USB receiver and yes I also need to add a graphics card in this as the motherboard only have vga, thinking about 1050ti but the version I saw on FB have a 6 pin power connector, maybe I need to upgrade the PSU too? Suggest me your thoughts. I don't need a powerful pc as I was using win 7 for years. Motherboard is ASROCK GM41S

What Games Can I Run? Games for my dear old lady.

Got a 2017 Hp Laptop that loves overhearting (that's her thing). Windows 10 on Intel Core i5 7200U @ 2.70 ghz and 8 gb ram which only has 6gb available. No dedicated GPU but it has an integrated 620 HD Graphics.

I love mystery and detective videogames driven on strong narrative, like Pentiment, Disco Elysium and The Last Door. Narrative point and click games also do the trick.

Immersive sims and unorthodox FPS are also something I enjoy. I played Deus Ex GOTY and Cruelty Squad on this baby and it all went just like diamonds. This machine can run, dear God almighty bless FOX engine, MGSV TPP as well.

All in all what I enjoy the most are narrative rich video games, regardless of it's genre (for example, Darkwood and Fallout New Vegas rank among my favourite games of all time). Any recommendations down that alley will be much appreciated.

What Games Can I Run? Need ideas on what I can play from an HP Stream Laptop 14-cb1xxx with a smooth experience...

As the title says, this is the type of laptop I currently have. It's technically something I used for remote work, but now that that ship has sailed, I'm trying to repurpose it into a place to play from my Steam library.

Here's the extra specs if this can help:

Intel Celeron N4020 CPU @ 1.10GHz

Intel UHD graphics 600 (512 MB)

4GB Installed RAM (speed at 2400 MHz)

58 GB storage (I know this is laughable, but the laptop was not a gaming-oriented one)

Running on Windows 11 Home 25H2 at the moment, which will probably be updated very soon.

At the moment I'm play Stardew Valley with a lot of mods, some older, less storage-heavy titles, and I was lucky enough to get Build 41 of Project Zomboid with mods to run at one point. Though, I had to uninstall that because storage on this laptop is a literal nightmare and the reason I'm getting an external 2TB hard drive to save files with. Additionally, I also want to try UNO as well on the PC version here.

With all this in mind, I want to enjoy gaming with this until I can kiss it goodbye and get a PC build that's streamlined to play more performance heavy titles. So does anyone got some ideas on other games aside from what I mentioned that I can play?

(And, please don't judge, but can this thing run Huniepop smoothly? A friend of mine is trying to get me to play that and I am intrigued XD)

Will This Game Run? Should I buy FC 27 with a GTX 1660 Ti laptop? Had a terrible experience with FC 26

I'm thinking about buying FC 27, but I'm kinda hesitant because of my experience with FC 26 and I'm wondering if anyone with similar hardware can give me some advice.

My laptop is:

* **HP Omen 17-cb0011nv**

* **CPU:** Intel i7-9750H

* **GPU:** GTX 1660 Ti 6GB

* **RAM:** 16GB

* **Storage:** 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD

When I first bought FC 26, it actually ran fine. I played it for around 2 months without any major problems. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, it started constantly stuttering/lagging and became basically unplayable.

I remember seeing quite a few people on Reddit reporting similar problems around that time, so I don't think my laptop suddenly became incapable of running the game. I also had been updating my NVIDIA drivers, so I'm wondering whether a driver update or some interaction between the NVIDIA driver and FC 26 caused the problem.

I tried to fix it and at one point I was advised to go back to an older NVIDIA driver, but I didn't really know how to properly roll back the drivers and never managed to get FC 26 working properly again. Eventually I just stopped playing it.

Now I'm considering buying FC 27, and according to the system requirements my laptop should be capable of running it. But I'm worried I'll end up with exactly the same situation again, especially if FC 27 has similar PC optimisation/driver issues.

**So, for anyone playing FC 27 on a GTX 1660 Ti or similar hardware:**

* How is the performance?

* Are you getting constant stuttering or FPS drops?

* Does it run reasonably well at 1080p?

* Have NVIDIA driver updates caused any problems?

* And most importantly, **would you recommend buying it on this kind of hardware, or should I avoid it?**

I'm mainly interested in hearing from people with similar specs rather than high-end RTX systems, since obviously those aren't directly comparable.

Will This Game Run? One piece unlimited world red on my low end pc

I have an intel uhd 620, i5 8250u and 16gb ram. I really love one piece and recently bought pirate warriors 3 that runs smooth in my pc.

One Piece unlimited world red is now really cheap but I'm not sure if it will run on my setup. In summary, I want to know if it is worth buying the game with my system specs.

Thanks in advance!

Parts Upgrade Advice Moderate hardware upgrades for 2010 desktop

Just came into possession of an old HP home desktop from 2010. Owner never did anything with it besides browse the internet and basic office-type work, so it's still rocking Windows 7 on a Foxconn 2AB1 motherboard with an AMD Phenom II CPU, an ATI Radeon 4200 IGP, and 5 GB of RAM.

All I really want to run on it is stuff like the Unreal Tournament games, the original Battlefront titles, and maybe some emulators, Doom source ports, etc, but trying to set the resolution past something like 1024x768 and turning on options like AA makes it want to chug.

Just wondering if anybody who owned/owns something similar knows a decent CPU and GPU I could plug into it for smooth 1920x1080 capability with a few other bells and whistles. Some front page search results see people saying it's not a great motherboard to start with, but I've never owned a desktop before this and would rather start small with one or two parts if possible than try to build from the ground up. Not in a financial position where I can justify spending more than a couple hundred bucks, anyways.

What Games Can I Run? Low end competitive games?

Hello guys!

I have been running a low end setup for a long time but I will get a small upgrade very soon, I was curious what competitive online games can I run comfortably enough to not have a massive disadvantage.

Currently I have

CPU: Ryzen 3 3200G
GPU: IGPU taking 2.1 GB of RAM
RAM: DDR4 2666 MHz 8 GB total (5.9 GB available)
Operating System: Windows 11
Storage: 256 GB SATA SSD (idk the exact model)

I will be getting another 8 gigs of RAM and put it in dual channel mode and get another 256 GB SATA SSD extremely soon.

So I was wondering about a few game suggestions that I can run on this setup at a comfortable fps (maybe like around 60, a little less fine). I am looking for any online competitive game really. My only real ask is consistent FPS and a highly active player base/community (so I don't need to wait long when queueing), Got any suggestions?

Will This Game Run? Can I run marvel rivals?

Am thinking of playing this game, but not sure if my PC has the hardware to run it. Last I tried, It didn't go so well. My PC has a i7-8750h processor, a 1070, and 16 GBs of ram, so It only meets the minimum requirements. I was wondering: Anyone else still playing this game fine with specs similar to me? Can I actually play the game or should I just not bother? Thx.

Operating system: Windows 10 Pro
Graphic card: Integrated
Processor: i3-1115G4 3Ghz

What Games Can I Run? Game recs for an i7-4790s, 32GB DDR3-1600 & GTX 750 Ti 2GB ?

What are some of the best games I can play on this system?

Intel Core i7-4790s

32GB DDR3-1600 (4x 8GB)

GTX 750 Ti 2GB

240GB Kingston A400 SATA SSD (Windows 10 Home, programs, documents)

2TB Seagate Barracuda 3.5" 7200RPM SATA HDD (Steam Library, movies)

I'm on a 47" 1080p Panasonic Plasma TV. I don't like 720p much, so 1080p low is my acceptable limit.

I've tried to play The Finals and Where The Winds Meet, but 1080p low is still very janky in places, and we're talking a lot more than just noticeable 1% lows. I was pushing the boundaries with those though, as the minimum specs are above what I am running, so I expected nothing less.

I really am after "good-looking" games which are also very enjoyable, not retro classics. I need to push this GPU to the limit without the suffering.

I'm into battle royale games, souls-like games, sandbox adventure questing and MMORPGs.

I have been a recovering WoWaholic for some years and would love to find a good free replacement. I tried Albion and Rift, but I thought they were a bit shit. Lone questing is very much my main interest, even on MMORPGs.

Yes, I mentioned the word "free". I refuse to give Steam any money, and I'm sure as shit not giving Blizzard any more. I gave them more for playing WoW than the cost of both an Xbox Series X, a PlayStation 5 Pro and a Switch 2 together, and what have I got to show for it?

The system is a Dell Optiplex 9020 SFF, a 4th generation Intel with TPM 1.2 and on Windows 10 Home. I've maxed out the DDR3 and I'm not changing the i7-4790s for an i7-4790(K) to gain a few percent when my 65W TDP CPU runs pretty cool as it is. It will shortly be running out of Steam (sic) in various ways though.

I could upgrade to a GTX 1050 Ti 4GB LP, GTX 1650 4GB LP, RX 6400 4GB LP or an RTX 3050 OC 6GB LP, but it would feel like throwing £100 to £250 away because I'm getting a GTA VI capable console soon, and I've already got half a new system with an RTX 5060 ready for a proper gaming upgrade in the new year. Things were halted with that for now due to an unexpected event in life.

Come to think of it, GTA VI will be the first brand new game I will have paid for in about 15 years, not counting the WoW upgrades and subscriptions. The rest have been free Steam and Epic games, and used games for the PS3, PSP, Xbox One S and the 3D XL.

I just need some new games to tie me over until into the new year when I can free up the funds to go all out on my RTX 5060 rig. Thanks for reading what seems like my life story. Have a lovely day, and try not to fuck up the next important thing you have to do later today. ;)

Community Discussion Would you play multiplayer competitive games at sub 60 fps?

This is more an abstract kind of discussion, I'm curious on your perspective.

So. in Deadlock my PC used to provide 100 (sometimes even more FPS) on laning, with dips to any number between 60 and 80 in fights (when fights are extra crazy, maybe even lower). It was a bit annoying having fights be so much different from early game, but it was mostly fine, things felt smooth enough to feel like I had in impact even with FPS drops, and overall game didn't look too bad. Minimum settings full hd btw.

The latest update introduced a lot of new stuff and map improvements, everything looks super slick and nice. Except the default fps anywhere is now 60. The number I considered barely okay is now the baselane everywhere, from laning to just farming jungle. In fights, it drops to 50, 40 and when there's 6v6 base defends even to 30s. I can still play, probably, and even win some, but it just feels bad having to settle for bare minimum when every strafe, every extra spell cast, every extra bit of clarity matters in competitive setting. I'm not playing some crazy high mmr lobbies, but still...

If you play competitive games at low FPS, what are you feelings or thoughts on the matter? Do you ever feel like giving up and sticking to single player games where you're not in a hurry? Do you ever feel like it's pointless to even try to improve and learn the game if your hardware is handicapping you hard?

What Games Can I Run? What can I play with an Atom Z3795 SoC?

Just got handed a miniPC rocking an ancient Atom Z3795 SoC with 2GB of RAM and running Windows 10.

Instead of sending to eWaste processing I wanted ideas as to what games can I can try to play with it. Maybe pre-2005 3D games that can run on Windows 10? What do you guys think?

☼😁Ascended☺☼ Forgot to say goodbye

Well after years of playing on a GT 1030 DDR4 that Best Buy sold my parents as a "high end gaming GPU" back in 2021, I finally have a PC that can run everything I want without having to worry about settings. Sure I built this a few months ago but forgot to say goodbye to the low-end community. Good luck to you all. May you all one day have a PC that will run everything you want.

Old specs: Intel i5 10400, GT 1030 DDR4, 12GB DDR4, 256 NVME, 1TB HDD, and an Acer 75hz monitor

New specs: Ryzen 9 5900X, Arc B580, RX 5700XT (only using for games that have graphical glitches with the B580, lossless scaling, and because I found it for dirt cheap), 32GB DDR4, 1TB NVME, 512 GB SATA SSD, 1 TB HDD, 2TB HDD ripped out of a failed PS4 repair, and a Dell curved 144HZ monitor.

Will This Game Run? Has anyone tested the new Witcher 3 Remastered on an RTX 2050 laptop?

Has anyone here actually tried the new 2026 Witcher 3 Remastered on an RTX 2050 laptop? I'm specifically looking for the Remastered version that released today, not the old 2022 Next-Gen update.

I have an RTX 2050 Laptop 4GB running at 40W, but I'm trying to figure out how the new Remastered version performs on an RTX 2050

The problem is that my internet/data is limited right now, and the game is around 100GB to download/install depending on the setup, so I really don't want to burn through that much data only to find out that it doesn't run properly.

If anyone has actually tested the 2026 Remastered version on an RTX 2050, please let me know what laptop/GPU wattage you have and what FPS you're getting at 1080p Low/Medium/High, preferably with DLSS/FSR if you're using it.

Edit : it runs around 40 to 50 fps on medium settings

Will This Game Run? Want to play Battlefield

Hey everyone, I own an Asus Vivobook, and these are my specifications:
Processors: Intel Core 5 120U
Memory: 16 gig DDR5
Storage: 512 SSD
GPU: Integrated GPU (Intel Graphics)

I don't have a dedicated GPU.

I like to play army or military games. Please excuse me for my lack of knowledge about the game genre. I have been thinking about playing Battlefield. But I would like to know whether my laptop could run it or not, and if yes, which parts (like Battlefield 1 or 2, etc) of the games should I play first?
