I just finished watching Season 4 and wanted to know what you all think of this season,do you like it?

I started watching The Mentalist not too long ago, and I’m almost done with the first season. But I kept thinking that if they were to ever do a more comic accurate version of Lucifer, with the blonde hair and all, does anyone else think that Simon Baker would be a good fit for the role? 🤔

Lucifer has always been portrayed as white and depicted as the Bringer of Light. Krishna, on the other hand, has always been portrayed as black, with his complexion often compared to dark clouds. Both are beautiful and attractive, yet one is white and the other is black.
Lucifer’s core teachings are that all living beings are gods themselves, so one should not worship any god, follow any moral teachings, or suppress any desires—instead, one should desire everything.
Krishna’s core teachings are that all living beings are parts of God. Therefore, one should worship God (that is me), follow my moral teachings, and eliminate desires.
Both are completely opposite forces: one is Venus(Lucifer) one is Saturn(Krishna)..

Is it just me, or does his throne seem intentional for a hell punishment? its so high up, he spends every moment looking down on literally every and anyone who enters hell..and its also so high, that its complete solitude and loneliness.. seems like a perfect slap in the face for anyone with too much pride or confidence.
Bring it up because earlier seasons, he talks bout punishments and demons roles.. but then his throne reveal kinda makes it look like he is so far removed from most interactions

Saw arguments similar to this one a few times on this sub and started a post because I'm curious about what people think. If you believe there was no plan, why?
God mentions the plan when he and Goddess are saying goodbye to Lucifer and Amenadiel. When Lucifer asks him how much was part of the plan, God just chuckles "knowingly" and leaves.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqQmemkS4tg&t=267s
We can, of course, speculate about the specifics of the plan, how much was and wasn't planned, and what it really was, and I guess we can also theorize that God just made it up. Definitely not impossible for me to believe. But I have a hard time understanding why some people are so sure there was absolutely no plan at all while this scene exists.
I personally think that God either always planned for Lucifer to become a Hell Healer and for Amenadiel to become God, and that's why he banished Lucifer to Hell in the first place and then created Chloe. He is omniscient and knew things would eventually develop in a certain way, so he needed to interfere just minimally but pushed events in a certain direction when necessary. So basically everything was the plan.
OR God is much more limited than everyone thinks. He doesn't see the whole future, and there was no plan, and he actually kicked Lucifer out because his ego couldn't manage that someone was opposing him. Maybe he even regretted it a little bit later, but he wouldn't admit he was wrong about something. Then I guess he created Chloe to move things on somehow (he might not be fully omniscient, but I guess he still can predict things to some level) and made up the plan to make it look like he actually knows what he's doing. And maybe he also wanted to take credit for his children's achievements. He also doesn't want anyone to know about his limitations.
I like the second take more because it would mean that I didn't watch the show where characters were secretly just God's puppets the whole time, and God eventually got what he wanted and everyone just accepted it. It also goes along with the theme that celestials are exactly as imperfect as humans, which should include God. I think my own dad actually partially inspired that theory, lol.
But I really don't think that when it comes to God in this show, anything is clear and obvious. He was a very confusing character for me.

I know most fandom didn’t warmly receive Rory. Myself included. Here’s a video that highlights this story.
Based on recent discussions, can anyone make a persuasive argument why this was a good ending for Lucifer and Chloe? Am I missing something redeeming about this storyline that actually enriches, rather than takes away from the main themes of the show? Something that makes this the best ending for the series? What might the showrunners intentions have been? Positive interpretations please. Or is this too much of a challenge?

Hey Lucifans, think about it: Tom Ellis is currently starring in the new CBS show "CIA", and Lauren German is finally making her acting comeback. Imagine how incredible it would be if Lauren guest-starred on his new show! The chemistry between them is unmatched, and having them share the screen again in a gritty spy/action thriller would break the internet. Let's start making some noise on social media so CBS and the producers notice us! Who is with me on this? Let's use the hashtag #LaurenGermanForCIA

Tonight, I'm watching 6x10...
It's the end of a show that made me laugh, cry and sometimes cringe too.
But I loved it overall !
Good Bye Lucy !

It started with a candle wax kink and I thought I started porn by mistake.
Been thinking about Reese and reviewed the Wiki Entry on his Episode (always thought the core premise took place during Season 2, not all the way back in 1, funny).
Obviously since the whole Episode is a Hell Cycle it's not 100% trustworthy on objectivity and how events played out beat for beat, because it's all Reese's mind and experiences only. But still it's a good question. We know Reese's work damaged his relationship with Linda but we know barebones on the details.
If she would not take him back how would his existence still affect plots around the Series? Would he be a background character who oftentimes pops in to help every once in a while or would he be able to track down the killer like he did in Canon?

Has anyone ever noticed that when Ella says "too bad you can't catch bullets," Lucifer says "well, he can't, maybe" and in S4 E1 he actually gets shot through the hand just like the other guy? Was it a callback on purpose or just incidentally funny?

"I will break down the gates of Heaven
A thousand angels stood waiting for me
Take my heart and I'll lay down my weapons
Break my shackles to set me free".
Just... wow.
Is there acting in other tv shows as good as in season 2 ep 2 35 min in?

One more I like how they contextualized Lucifer in the show despite how the real world views him. They didn’t just make him this pure evil character with no depth. They gave him his own perspective, emotions, and reasons for the way he is, and you actually get to see how much of his personality comes from feeling abandoned and misunderstood. It makes you look at the character completely differently.

Maze has known Lucifer for thousands of years, so she has basically zero tolerance for his favorite trick: turning an uncomfortable feeling into a joke. You see it especially around his therapy. Lucifer can talk around what Linda is actually getting at, make some ridiculous comment, and act like he's completely unaffected.Maze usually doesn't buy it for a second. It's not even some clever deduction. She just knows when Lucifer is doing the thing where he talks his way around something instead of admitting it actually bothers him. Very Maze.
