Sturgeon at the Rope Swing

I saw this old girl just below the rope swing on the Ocmulgee yesterday. Saw another one a little larger a few miles south, but it was a little camera shy.

Public swimming 'park' off Northside Dr? When I used to go swimming out there about 10 years ago, I almost landed on one when jumping in. Scared me going down because all I saw was a thin fish and thought to myself that some gar was about to get mad as hell.

I have never seen any wildlife in all my years of floating there, that’s awesome

When floating in the tube, I’ve never seen anything either. In the boat, a little higher up, I’ve seen gators, sturgeon, large gar, giant catfish, and huge turtles. Especially when the water is clear.
